DOKI DOKI meme There's nothing wrong with wanting to play out some cute, fluffy interaction. So break out the butterflies in the stomach, the hand holding, the love confessions, the NOTICE ME SENPAIS, and all the adorableness you can stomach - no matter if if fits your character perfectly or not. It's all about characters getting comfortable with each other while being total goobers and showing love. It's shameless, sure, but it's fun! [After the foot rub, her and Jaune began dating. A strange thing not seeing him hit on other girls especially since, sadly for him, Velvet was sent out often on missions with her team.
Days and weeks would often pass with no sign. No message, no nothing. Maybe it was a bad idea to be in a relationship as Hunters.

Still, she came back, looking the same as before, and softly knocked on Team JNPR's door. Velvet had planned for a surprise, but no doubt CFVY's return would already be mentioned throughout the Academy.]

[Even though Velvet has been out on missions for quite a while, Jaune has quietly kept the faith back at Beacon while training with his team. He knows she's part of an elite squad and that she has to go when she's called, and he's missed her every day since. There are even some crappy love poems he wrote for her waiting for her under Team CFVY's door when she gets back.

Thank goodness the rest of Team JNPR is so understanding, because as soon as they caught wind of it, they all managed to come up with some excuse to vacate the room for the day so the two can have some private time together. Jaune is going to have to do something nice to thank them. And he's all smiles as he answers the door, knowing already who's on the other side.]

Velvet! You're back!

[He's not strong enough to lift her up by her waist and twirl her around like he wants, but damn if he's not giving her a pretty fierce kiss before she even has a chance to respond in kind.]

But Jaune's kiss, despite their relationship, still catches her off guard as her eyes bulge wide and her cheeks turn red. As promised, she's unable to mention anything. No "I missed you" or "how have you been". It does take a few moments, but she does softly kiss back, taking his hands in hers.]

[He smiles at her as he breaks the kiss, squeezing her hands before stepping back to allow her into the dorm room.]

The others went to the library to study, so we've got the room to ourselves.

Ourselves?

[Once she steps in, Velvet looks around the quiet room.]

You don't need to study or anything, do you?

[As she waits for him to close the door, it's obvious she's holding a little brown tote bag. Nothing fancy.]

I can study later. Right now, I just want to spend time with you.

[Jaune moves in for a hug, gently stroking her hair before stepping back and closing the door behind them.]

So, what's in the bag? Some kind of cool souvenir from your mission?

It's nothing!

[Obviously it's something by Velvet's quick response and how she clutched it against her chest.]

I-I, um, it might be nice if, you know, I had a chance to change. Into. Something.

Into... something?

[Jaune waggles his eyebrows.]

[Apparently he's not that far off in his assumption so without another word, Velvet simply heads for the showers.]

[Jaune, for his own part, just waits on the bed. Lounging comfortably on the pillows and watching the door to the showers, waiting for her to come back out.]

[It takes a while, but she finally comes out.
She's a bit too nervous to move forward or retreat so she simply stands there in the doorway.]

[And as soon as Jaune sees her, he sits up straight on the bed, staring in awe at how beautiful she looks.]

Wow... Velvet, you look amazing!

[Only then does she quietly shuffle toward him and stopped at the foot of his bed.]

[Fortune favors the bold, so instead of gesturing for her to sit down next to him, he's just going to reach out and pull her down into his lap.]

Hey there.

[So Velvet, dressed in hardly anything, was pulled across Jaune's lap and looking straight up at him.]

I... I, um, f-figured this was something, u-um, nice.

[He'd meant to get her sitting in his lap, but the two of them are just too awkward for that to have happened. Still, he's not complaining at all - there is, after all, a beautiful girl with big brown eyes looking up at him.]

Yeah, I was definitely surprised! I mean, I knew you were beautiful, but... wow.

[He's got a huge smile on his face, a blush rising to his cheeks as he looks her over from head to toe. She's really pulling it off well - white is a good color for her. It makes her look even more shy and pure, but sexy at the same time.]

So, uh... do you want to get more comfortable?

[dustbun]

Um...

[Part of her simply wanted to get it over with. She did want to do this with him, that wasn't the case, but his staring and praise took some adjusting for a girl like her.

But she climbed over him and onto the bed, holding her knees in her arms.]

I-I hope this isn't, um, a bad time?

[Honestly, she figured how Jaune kissed and caressed her sometimes that he was always ready for something like this.]

[Truthfully, Jaune has no idea what to do right now either. He's been getting by entirely on enthusiasm and hormones so far. But when he sees how nervous Velvet looks, he reaches over to place a comforting hand on her. Not atop her own, but on her foot, squeezing gently in a callback to how they'd started things off.]

We can go as slow as you need to, okay? I'm gonna get comfortable too, and we can just cuddle first if you want.
