As a general rule, Matt doesn't get caught up in Avengers business. The difference of opinion is enough to keep him happily confined to Hell's Kitchen (with the occasional excursion beyond the borders), but it's hard to do what they do and not make allies. At the end of the day, they all want the same thing. And if someone the Avengers are after happens to venture into the Devil's territory, well, Matt is obligated to do his part.
It's a miserable night for it. Not as bad as it can be, sure, but all the same Matt's lips curl into a grimace under the line of his mask. The trail is in and out. Clint's been more of a help than Matt in that aspect. Matt knows the area, though, knows places that most other people would never think of going. That's what led them here.
"Maybe. A window just closed across the street and there's someone moving in the puddles somewhere. A couple people, maybe, it's done now." Other than that, the drip-drip of the rain is consistent with no discernable interruption. Still better than snow.
