Charles tightened the hug for a moment more before he let go, reaching up to briefly ruffle Kurt's streaked hair. "I know you will. And... Kurt? If it comes to it, and you feel the need to... add, come and find me, regardless of the hour." He raised an eyebrow towards Kurt with a questioning expression, trying to make sure that Kurt understood he meant it. Yes, he didn't know the meaning behind those scars just yet, but that could come with time. He was curious, but this had been a big step forward (maybe for both of them) and he wasn't about to push for that.

"Go head up for a rest," he said in a way to defuse the air slightly, offering a small smile. "Teleport yourself downstairs and get changed, head up normally. I'm going to find my sister and let her know what happened this afternoon... and Doctor McCoy the results of our testing. He'll be very excited to hear all about it."
