He brings her in close, not minding the hug, though he does wince a little when her arm brushes up against one of his wounds. He tries to hide that fact, shifting her arm a little so it doesn't rub up against it.

"I'll always have your back, wouldn't want to break the news to your friends. Pretty sure i'd get smashed into the ground or worse." He chuckles at the last part, even though he hasn't formally met Jane, she sounds like a force you shouldn't mess with.
