Music is what gives life it’s spice. It brings emotion to us no matter how much we try not to show it; no matter the age, past, present, or the near future -- music will always be there for us. There’s those songs that make you happy enough to dance to, sad enough to make us shed a few tears, even ignite a dulled spark inside of lust or passion. Music has no given rules, therefore we can manipulate this to the best of our abilities to interpret the lyrics to be “relatable”.

she doesn't hiss at the sight of his bare skin — she has seen plenty worse, after all, but it does look particularly painful, deliberate in a way. a gabriel reyes specialty, but thankfully without the final killing blow. the fact that angela knows immediately how to ease jack's pain with her caduceus, should say something about how often this happens to them, facing an old friend and receiving his version of hello. ]

Hanzo was tolerant of many things concerning Jesse McCree. His dress was embarrassingly gaudy, he was not as attentive as he could be in controlling his beard length, more often as not he tasted thickly of ash, which in itself was not a dealbreaker aside from how abhorrent it was to later discover chewed-off cigarillo bits in his mouth when Hanzo went to brush his teeth before retiring.

He could even forgive him for deciding that the best venue for trying to engage Hanzo in intimate acts was on a Gibraltar cliff side in full view of the group training hangar (dubbed "Danger Zone" by Tracer, regrettably reinforced by Hana and the DJ). McCree would go on to warble about how romantic the sunset was, and Don't it make you feel the least bit mood-like? Hanzo spent the evening mending his yukata in peace.

Public and unconscionably loose declarations of what he wanted to do to Hanzo behind closed doors was out of that (generous) purview. Hanzo about elbowed Jesse out of the way of the cabinet he'd been trying to put a stack of plates away in before the cowboy had blundered in "hot to trot", as it were.

"Or by all means continue and enjoy the company of your own appendages for another night," he said in a low clip, turning on his heel.

[ While Jason has no qualms when it comes to laying out a plan ahead of time or using the shadows to his advantage, he much prefers the direct approach when dealing with Gotham's capes. Especially those tied to the Bat. Their encounter at the Tower a while back was a testament to this - breaking in; incapacitating Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy; and then approaching Robin one-on-one.

Opting to take another route instead of mindlessly chasing, Jason uses the fire escape in an attempt to head-off the vigilante on fourth floor. It works in his favor; he catches the other's shadow cast along a wall and knows he's got the Replacement cornered.

As he closes in, he steps on shattered glass, ultimately giving his position away. His muscles tense and he readies himself to move - the kris in his right hand is raised to deflect. As Tim swings around the corner, striking out with his bo, it catches up against the metal. Jason uses the attack's momentum, pushing his weight into it and sliding the blade along the bo in an attempt to throw Tim off-center and leave him open to a strike with his left hand. ]

It was a bit of a gamble to play grab ass this close to a high traffic area like near the hangar, but McCree was gambling man. And he knew when to pump the breaks if Hanzo was genuinely out of his comfort zone. Only right now, and all things considers, he thought his chances were still in the green.

"Aw - now you're just tryin' to wound me, sweetheart."

Jesse McCree had a deadeye as a marksman and knowing when to tread very, very carefully around the high walls of a certain someone's boundaries wrapped in concertina wire. He gauged the man as having a tolerance for terms of endearing somewhere between darling and pumpkin. Anything more saccharine was usually met with a cold shoulder. And right now he was trying to get in Hanzo's pants not scare him off.

"I can do more than talk." McCree soothed, flicking up the brim of his stetson that made up for his anachronistic fashion sense Hanzo could hardly pass judgement on all things considered.

"You would know when I am trying to wound you." Usually his bow was in hand.

...But he wasn't wrong about his chances. Hanzo just happened to believe in working for one's goals and should Jesse feel the need to mount more hurdles with his mouth, Hanzo wouldn't dissuade his efforts. Perhaps out of morbid curiosity to see if he could run the course that he'd set. If that earned him a reputation as an "ice queen", the ~~cowboy~~ man that would break the news to him wouldn't be long for this world.

For now McCree was all honeythis and sugar that, spiking Hanzo's suspicions instantly.

"I would settle for less."

Hanzo makes a surreptitious check as to whether they were indeed alone or close to it, bright chatter still spilling from the hallway. But not moving closer. Hanzo let him stew for a few more seconds, a touch of playacting added in when he wrinkled his nose and pulled the stetson's brim low down McCree's forehead and tried to resume his chores.

"Unless you are here to help, I am uninterested in 'riding bareback'." His voice dropped out of habit, both scandalized and a little thrilled, going by the gleam in his sleek eyes.
