"Almost," Derek echoed, tightening his hold slightly as if to be sure the other regained his proper footing. Once he was sure he had, he slid his hand away, quickening his pace forward. "You might think you forgot, but your senses will always be there to help you remember," he reminded, sparing a quick glance over his shoulder to catch sight of the other again.
"The closer we get, the more things should start coming back to you. The smell of the air during certain times of the day, the usual sounds - you'll never forget, not as long as you know how to let your mind and body work together to put together what either can't on it's own."
