He was more than happy to play. Keeping his hands stead on the other man's back, he attempted to catch Laurent's tongue between his lips so he might suck on it, chasing each time it was kept from him. He offered a noise or two, a sigh here and there, but he much preferred hearing Laurent make those kinds of noises.

Hands wound into his hair and their short break was done. Gansey did not miss it. He delighted in the way Laurent teased him as much as he wanted more. Such playfulness was new for him in kisses; he reciprocated, nipping at a lip when he had the chance and giving it a brief tug before letting it go. Dipping his head forward again to join their mouths again.

When he broke the kiss again his face was flushed; his chest rose and fell with the quick beat of his heart. Having Laurent on his lap, pressed against him, kissing, didn't elicit innocent feelings in him—he shifted back on the stair, uncomfortable with his tight his pants were beginning to feel. He didn't want to make things awkward between them by accidentally pushing something hard against Laurent's thigh.

He licked his lips, scraped his teeth against his bottom lip as he looked up at Laurent. "I'm smitten."
