[To say that he's embarrassed to do this is an understatement. After all, he's one of the fittest people on the island. He, of all people, shouldn't be walking towards Tsumiki. Still, he ambles his way over to her. Though, his greeting is... loud, as usual.]

A-a physical? [She's not a doctor and isn't trained to be one but...she could probably perform that. She does a lot of self-studying too, after all. But this raises a few questions...and worries. She's already raising a hand up to try and feel his forehead.]

W-why do you think that, Nidai-san? I can...do my best to perform one, but I've never been formally trained i-in giving physicals so...i-it may not be very useful. If you're exhibiting specific symptoms and can relate them to me, though, th-there's a chance we could eliminate some possibilities and I can...a-at least focus on what would be the most likely problem areas...

[Pulling her hand back, Tsumiki whines a little, looking down.]

I-I'm sorry I'm not a fully fledged doctor, b-but...I-I'll do the best I can!

[ You know the cliche. Next door neighbors, childhood friends, the whole shebang. Of course, Honoka hadn't seen Gundam for the longest time, and for good reason. They'd gone separate ways; she went to an all girl's school, he went to Hope's Peak Academy. It's been forever and a day since she last saw him, but there were times when the other members of her idol group had told her that she'd never get a boyfriend, things like that.

Maybe that was true.

It was summer vacation, however. It meant that school was out for the time being and she didn't have to worry about having to deal with idol duties. Not that she hates it, naturally, but it's more that-- well. She could possibly get the chance to talk to him again. Which is what she's planning as she knocks on the door. ]

[ Nailed it. Sure, she might like him, but she is pretty bad at hiding her loud enthusiasm. ]

[He glances around once more before lowering his head slightly so he can whisper (well, best as he could at least, it still sounds like a normal person).]

[It'd been ages since he'd spoken with her, but that hadn't lessened their friendship any in his eyes. It's not like he was great at making friends, so the (very) few he had were kept pretty near and dear to his heart. Especially ones he'd made when he was so young, when having friends mattered so much more.

Not having spoken for ages also couldn't keep him from recognizing her near immediately when she came knocking, though that didn't mean it didn't come as a surprise. A pleasant one! But one none the less. Mostly because, well...he hadn't really been expecting it. He'd kind of expected her to go her own way, make a new group of friends, maybe even move out of the town they were in. But here she was.

It only takes a few minutes to answer the door, long enough to put down the book he was reading and rise to get it.]

Ah, Honoka... [You know, it's only after he opens the door and gives her a little bow of greeting that he processes exactly what she said.]

Go out and play, you say? Hmph. Considering my afternoon is clear of any plans, I could be coerced into going along with such a thing.
