1.5 and say Loki's spell keeps him physically sealed but doesn't turn off the other guy completely?

It's not a terribly uncommon occurrence for Bruce to wake up not knowing where he is, more's the pity. But those instances when he comes back to himself it is usually among wreckage with his clothing hanging off him in tatters. Those times he woke exhausted with his body aching from the strain of a transformation.

Which is precisely why it is so startling for him now to wake with his mind hazy but without the panicked void that usually accompanies a transformation. He doesn't know how much time has passed but there are no flickers of blood and fire, of bullets and crumbling buildings to tease him with the implication of the destruction he'd caused.

It's a strange sensation that somehow not remembering devastation makes him even more worried. More than that, though, the other guy is still there. Not the quiet slumber that usually follows a transformation but still the dull roar in the back of his mind, still there and straining, as always, for release. Enough so that there's a momentary surge of fear, when Bruce has to close his eyes against his foreign surroundings and take a deep breath, letting it out shakily, trying to push down the swell of fear that accompanies the realization that his hands are bound. He needs to find out where he is, what's going on. Then he can let fear and outrage over take him, let the other guy free him from wherever he is.
