Snowed in: uh-oh, it looks like it may have snowed a little too much last night, and now you're stuck inside. So grab a hot cup of cocoa, curl up and relax. Or maybe you're going a little stir crazy. Have fun with it.
Snowball fight!: Arguably the best part of a snow day, right? Gathering a bunch of friends, or just one, and spending the day in modern snowy warfare. You better make your ammunition and pile that snow fort high, you don't have much time before the snow begins to fly.
Ice rink: Oh wow, winter hit pretty hard, didn't it? The local pond froze over and is even safe enough to go skating on! So grab your skates and hit the ice-- not literally, though. That hurts.
Walking in a winter wonderland: The way the snow glistens is rather pretty, isn't it? Sure it's cold but it's not so bad if you're spending it with a loved one, enjoying the scenery and staying close to keep warm. ;)

Madokaaaaaa... [Sayaka is whining. It was an oddly snowy season this year, and it had gotten to the point where the ONE day she decided to spend the day over at another house, it snows so hard that neither can actually go outside an enjoy it.

Like, it's covering half of the door outside the house!]

I always thought snow would be something nice to look at, but here I am, watching it trap us inside! Like bears! [Bears hibernate, Sayaka, they aren't trapped.]

Ehhh, bears? [Are they trapped somewhere for the whole winter??]

[ The amount of snow is getting ridiculous but it's not exactly amusing. Madoka can easily spend days sketching, drawing and coloring on her sketchbook but she's not doing that when she has company... And she is glad to have company instead of spending all of her time alone with that sketchbook. Sayaka's whining doesn't bother her at all. She's looking out from a window, just hoping they could go outside but doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon.]

It is something nice to look at. Maybe just -- not when it traps people inside and looks like we'd freeze outside. What are we going to do if it just keeps snowing? Sleep until spring?

Come on, you know that bears are trapped in caves when it snows. [This is why Sayaka doesn't do well in school.]

[Sayaka looks out the window as well. She would actually like seeing Madoka do her drawing, she may make fun of some of the stuff she draws, but it just proves how adorable Madoka is, and Sayaka honestly would want to work together to make something neat with her friend. She would have thought this would happen, now, but...]

I don't think we can do that... I'd lose it if I was stuck in one place for that long. I... seem to remember seeing people throw salt for snow problems. Maybe we should open the window and throw salt outside?

I-I know, but aren't they sleeping that whole time?? [Back to school, both of you.] I wonder what happens if they can just walk away from there one day...

[She could do the drawing thing! Or she could come up with something more social and fun to do soon, give her a moment. There's a lot to do inside the house, but bears and salt are more important right now.]

If you slept through that time, you wouldn't get bored... I don't think we can even sleep for that long though. [...Wait, what? Salt? Madoka looks like she believes it completely as soon as Sayaka says it.] Whoa, really? But but, umm, wouldn't it be bad when the snow melts and all that salt goes to the ground, where little animals will find it? I don't think they like salt. Much. But maybe they'll forgive us if it makes the snow go away...

[Always extremely worried about everyone else. But she's about ready to run and get some salt.]

Well... bears are lazy, I guess? [Oh my god.] Or maybe bears only sleep during their time trapped by snow? [OH MY GOD.]

[Bears and salt. Clearly this is the biggest problem they will ever have in their lives, forget all about that magic business, it's all about SALT.]

I'd also be really sore if I slept all that time. Have you ever just stayed still for a long time, and tried moving? [Of course you believe it, because Sayaka is a paragon of knowledge.] Hmm... well, if salt like... melts the snow, there will be water. Water turn turn the salt into... salt water? And then it just waters flowers for spring?

[Literally everyone else they know is smarter than this.]

Wh--!! So either they are lazy all the time, or they could be running around endlessly until snow comes back? No wonder they need so much sleep... [ YOU STARTED THIS, SAYAKA! ]

[ First world problems! Especially because they are definitely going to run into bears in the middle of this town. ]

That sounds like my mom every morning. [ oh my god Madoka. ] Or like everyone every morning... [ But she's nodding about all those things about water. ] I hope they all go to flowers, so we get many when they bloom. Let's go get salt, I'm sure we have a few variations. But ummm, will something like rose salt make only roses bloom better? Wait, I think its real name is something else, so that could be a totally different end result... It just looks pink like roses and I'm not even sure if we have it. Or maybe we should use sea salt, the snow is going to melt into a tiny ocean anyway.

[Maybe they can get something else to do / think about... But she'll be leading Sayaka to the kitchen.]

Makes sense. You always hear stuff about bears and how they really strong right? That sleep must be used to build it up. [It's like she thinks they have MP, and use it to perform BEAR CLAW.]

[But Madoka. WHICH TOWN ARE WE IN!?]

... Your mom sleeps through seasons? [OH MY GOD SAYAKA.] But Madoka, if we make a tiny ocean show up, wouldn't it just spill all over the place? You'd need a pool for that. [That is like the smartest thing she's said and it's still stupid.] What if we just grab all of it, combine it and see what happens?

[But yeah, lead the way, Pink. Blue will follow your lead on this one.]

...I hope I never run into a bear unless I can offer him or her something for distraction while I try to get away. [Then again, Madoka would probably try to befriend that bear too by talking to it as she does to most people and animals and whatever else.]

[ Mitak-- NO, THEY'RE NOT! It's just taking Madoka sometime to get used to the idea of living somewhere else. ...Are there going to be bears walking on streets here??]

Ah, no, but you know how she's like every morning when we wake her up. It's almost like she attempts to sleep through them... I-I guess it would... spill. [Ooops?] Ehehe, well our own pool would be great though, we could invite people over to spend time and have parties there! [But hey, Sayaka's new plan sounds good so here she's nodding in excitement again.] Let's do it that way! The more salt we have, the better the end result could be, right?

[Off to the kitchen they go and really, there are a few different variations of salt... Because what is knowing which one you should buy? She didn't have to know this back home, it's all part of the new experiences! Madoka takes two cups and starts mixing salts into them. Follow along, Blue, or let the Pink do all the work. It's not like there's a lot to do and she won't mind.]

If a bear corners you or something, I'll handle it. [SAYAKA MIKI, BEAR PUNCHER.]

[HOW ABOUT INABA, FROM PERSONA 4! YEAH SHE CAN SUMMON HER- wait shit wrong canon point for Sayaka...]

I have to wonder if she does it on purpose, just so the first thing she see's each morning is you. [That's... huh...] But right, salt.

[Sayaka begins looking around as well, to see if there's anymore hanging around.] Hey, Madoka... how does an onion have salt? Will... the salt make someone cry too?

How about I just talk to him or her?

[How about Verens if we're taking them there anyway??]

You think so? [She gives a laugh at that.] I wouldn't umm, you know, be surprised. It sounds just like her, but I'm sure she wants to see Tatsuya too. [Oh, but right, salt. Onions, salt, what??]

I -- have no idea how that works, but I certainly hope it won't? Do flowers even like salt? I-Is it rude to throw the salt there if they don't even really like it? What if the snow just keeps coming because we put this there?

Madoka, bears don't talk.

Can't say I blame her. I wouldn't mind waking up to see you every day. [Sayaka doesn't know just how that could be taken...]

I'm sure they do. Isn't that... photo stuff they do made out of salt? Besides, it's not like snow grows on trees, it has to come from somewhere else.

Of course not, but that doesn't mean I can't talk to them! It's like people talking to their pets all the time, but instead of a pet, it'd be a bear.

[Another sheepish laugh at that and who knows if Madoka notices how it could be taken either.] I wouldn't mind waking up every morning to see everyone too. It would be great, to know that everyone's safe and sound.

I -- have no idea if photo stuff is made of that? [What photo stuff even?] Doesn't it just come down from the sky because it's too cold for rain? But I think I've used most of my classes for sketching and finding cute pictures from those books. ...So anyway, we should go throw these salts there! [She gives one of the now full cups of different salts to Sayaka, she can lead the way this time.] Let's hope it works!

I hope this end up with you saying you want a bear as a pet. I won't allow it.

[Either way they're still having this strange conversation.]

Ah... well, I think I would take you over others, personally. You're the cutest one. [KEEP DIGGING THAT HOLE SAYAKA]

[She means photosynthesis.] It's hard to pay attention to all of that, huh? I still catch some of it from time to time, along with whatever I manage to take from Hitomi.

[But okay! Time to teach that snow whose boss!]

Even if it was just a tiny and innocent bear?

[ Look, they are probably going to have weird conversations anywhere they go, so this is just ... one of them. And she's blushing at that compliment. ]

Ehh, umm... I -- I --- I wouldn't know who to choose, everyone's too cute! [ Look, Sayaka, she'd probably choose Homura as canon point says, so keep digging there. ]

Well, somehow I still manage to take notes and people want to copy them. ...I wonder what's it going to be like when we go to high school?

[She's opening the window and it's actually cold once it's open.]

Ready?! [5, 4 --] Set--! [ 3, 2, 1 -- getting ready for it, even colder when she needs to keep her hand out there. ] Throw ~! [ 0, there goes salt all over snow. ]

But... wouldn't the parents be nearby? [Or does the animal kingdom work differently.[

I should have seen this coming, of course you couldn't choose. Unless there was like, a cat involved, you may pick the cat. [And for Sayaka, Homura is isn't cute she's hot-I mean, really pretty. And awful... and if you took out her dislike of Homura from the equation, she would probably answer glasses Homura as the cutest too.]

[LIKE WE LIVE THAT LONG] Ehh, kind of don't want to think about that one. It only get's harder as you go up, right?

[Sayaka can only shiver as the window opens. Insert hypothetical line about TURNING OFF PAIN]

Taste salt, snow! [And out it goes!...

You know, I probably should have checked to see how long it takes.
