It takes a little effort but Alec manages to slouch down enough that Magnus won't be uncomfortable. "Later you'll convince me to go to the club?" Normally he'd complain about going somewhere loud and crowded but he has the feeling he'd enjoy it - in small doses - with Magnus. "I don't mind. I know you'd probably prefer going out."

Magnus is being patient with him, letting Alec figure out things he'd never thought he'd be allowed to have. It doesn't seem right if they end up on the couch watching movies all the time because Alec isn't as social as other people. "Maybe on nights when I'm not trying to drag everyone out of trouble?"
