Grinning at Magnus, Alec wonders if he could make Magnus blush. It seems like a challenge that they both would enjoy since Magnus seems to like his honestly.

"Magnus..." He starts to protest that he's been hurt worse over the years then reconsiders. It's not something Magnus should have to worry about. "I'll be fine in a few hours." But Alec has the feeling that even if he hadn't been injured, Magnus would insist that he take the bed. "Thank you for not assuming. I don't mind sharing." Which doesn't exactly match his suggestion to go slow but the idea doesn't make him nervous. That might change when it's time for them to go to bed but right now he wants as much time with Magnus as possible.
