slicknick: (that's nice.)

[It was true that Nick could become a little panicky and frantic under pressure. Training had helped, of course, but it was just in his 'nature' sometimes. But these days, he liked to think he was pretty could at keeping a level head, even in the most stressful of situations.

And really, he trusted Judy completely, so how bad could this be?]

That's the spirit. Give em the old one-two. [With a grin, he reached up to straighten his tie - no loud ties at the moment, but the standard issue one they gave all the ZPD officers. Gone too was the Hawaiian shirt, but not forever. No, he still pulled out that ensemble for off-duty shenanigans. But for now, he was a professional. So giving a little nod of satisfaction, he opened the door and stepped inside the little room.

The lead in question was a hyena, one who currently looked rather bored with the entire situation. Typically known for being easily amused, they could be difficult to work with. Hopefully Judy was up for the task. Putting on his warmest, kindest voice and open expression, he walked up to where the hyena sat the table.]
Hello, Mr.... Chucklesby, was it? [Chuckles? Really?] I'm Officer Wilde. How are you doing, are you being treated okay? Do you need anything - coffee, snacks?

Hey, can we get some coffee in here? [He called back over his shoulder, before looking back at their 'guest.'] Mr. Chucklesby, I know this has been difficult for you, but anything you need you just let me know, alright? I'm here to help. And I've just got a few questions for you if you don't mind answering them...

[But 'Chuckles' did mind. Actually, it looked like he wanted to take advantage of Nick's hospitality. Which gave Carrots the perfect in to go all bad cop on him, really.]
