In real life, motorcycle clubs that are truly "gangs," or "1%," are no laughing matter, a part of a dark and seedy underbelly that's far from pretty. Like with many cultural establishments with less-than-stellar reputations, though, fiction has romanticized these fringe fraternities with shows like Sons of Anarchy. To be fair, the life itself lends to the idealized: spending time on the open road, answered very little to very few, being able to take matters of life and liberty into your own hands, cloaking yourself in leather and tattoos and denim and the very essence of Americana. It all screams freedom and a wild lifestyle.

Equally wild and even more passionate is the love lives individuals involved in the motorcycle club lifestyles. When danger's at your back, it's good

old lady: Or old men, because why not. Essentially, the official significant others of members, and it's all very serious - with some bikers even viewing their lover as property. They may wear the biker's jacket or ride on the back of the motorcycle.

[ Mick Rory slams his tools down on the tray. He's been a mechanic and muscle at the club for a three good years, but he's a wild card to be sure. There are times where he just cracks without the proper guidance and wants to melt it all down. The best he's been doing is to walk away from what frustrates him now. No other gang will have him.

He paces out in front of the bar, puffing away at a cigarette he doesn't really need. Someone's probably gotten scared enough to come and tell John that he's on the edge again. ]

[ Mick turns what's supposed to be the latest and greatest for import over in his hands. Straddled on his bike still, he looks up at the rig behind Nora. ]

But why do I feel like you're holdin' out on me, Nora? Huh?

[John is spread out in his usual spot against the wall, his table spread out with all manner of books and papers. His journal is open and in the process of once again absolutely covering it in his notes and rambling. Look, the job never sleeps, even when you've got other bullshit to deal with.

Bullshit like the news that someone is having tantrum outside when he should be, you know, not doing that. He groans and takes a moment to bury his head in his hands. This. This is why he's going grey.

A few minutes later, John's outside with a hand clapped on Mick's shoulder, more annoyed than anything else.]

C'mon, princess. Inside.

[Nora smirks, unfolding herself from her perch on the back of the truck. Normally she's not one for conversation at these meetings- or ever, really. She likes listening more.

But hey, she's got to defend herself here.]

Why would you say that? I'm always good to you.
