He doesn't like noise, which is incongruous to their friendship. Syeira is a bard, and by definition makes noise. Even here usual chainmail shirt made cheerful chiming sounds when she wore it. But today, she was not. She was down to just get tunic, breeches and boots; no noise or flash. So she's fairly quiet when she walks up and sits on the ledge of the window he was looking out of.
For a while she's just quiet, sitting with him in silence, watching the rain fall and hit the glass. But she's not very good at silence. Or stillness. She fidgets with something, the hem of her tunic, the ends of her long, blood red hair. It may as well been a scream that she couldn't barely stand it.
"Doing alright?" She knows his supply is down. Temporarily. An inconvenience, not yet an emergency, but she's here to check on him anyway.

The glass was slightly grayed, a special UV glass he had once explained, ordered special from the empire. A place across the Carpathian mountains. His people came from the empire, its where the special tablets he put in everything he drinks came from, today he was swirling a glass of wine, it had some kind of fragment mixed in it that smelled very nice. The liquid was that heavy crimson it always turns as he sat there. At first he said nothing.
He say up a bit, elegent as ever, pushing back a strand of his hair. He was still adjusting to having a woman living with him again, but it was safer for her here than in the hands of the Vatican. A world traveler... what would those bastards do to her? She was a bit noisy at times but a kind spirit.
"I am quiet well, Syeira." He spoke his low somber voice finally spoke, with that gentle intoxicating voice of his. "The sun will set in an hour." he could be up at anytime thanks to these special windows, but they could be fully opened once the sunset. He did love the smell of the rain sometimes. "and how are you today? enjoying Buda?" Buda, the half of the river that belonged to Gyula himself, Pest was where the masses lived, he always made a point to tell her not to go there without one of the military police... Just not Radcon.

He has a fantastic voice. She often winners if she could convince him to sing. She's sure it would be an unique experience.
"It's lovely. Different from home, hey somehow very similar." World traveler. Her definition was planeswalker, but she'd had to explain it, and that had made more sense. And spend better in mixed company too.
"I do wish you'd let me go out alone." She understands the caution. She does. She's not just from a distant material plane. She's a different species all together, with the blood of a god in hey veins. She has no desire to be used. But still, she chafes at the babysitting.
"Or if you insist on it, you could go out with me. I wouldn't mind a friend's company." She turns a smile at him, small, genuine with a hint of playful teasing. "It'd keep me out of trouble and you might have fun."

She would never get him to sing sadly, he has little interest in it. Like most of his passions if he ever had the desire it died with Maria's sparkling eyes. "There are a many great cities in this world that once day you maybe will get to visit. Albion is quiet lovely." He pushed off the couch finally moving with all his feline grace towards the window. "This city used to be beautiful, even Pest shined before the Armageddon.
Gyula worried about what may happen to her if she went to Pest alone, He knew he couldn't stop her anymore than he could stop Maria, but he still wished to try. "It's out of the question." He replied finally looking back at her with his silvery werewolf like eyes. "Those filthy terrans would do terrible things to you like they did Maria." of course she's heard all about it. Its his great sorrow. His beautiful wife burned at the stake by the very people she helped. "I do not mingle with the terrans they are loud and hateful creatures." He didn't think about it, but he squeezed the wine glass a little to hard as it exploded in his hand, the red liquid falling to the floor staining his lace sleeves and running down his arm. "Damn." a curse slipped without him meaning to let it out.

He sounded like a parent, forbidding her from doing things. For her own good, buy it was still aggravating. Her face allowed y she was about to rebut, when the glass shattered in his hand.
"Are you hurt? Let me see." She was up on her feet in an instant, concerned, but not panicked. She responds with the practiced hate of one used to emergency situations. She reaches for him, taking him by the wrist and carefully turning his hand palm up, looking for embedded glass or other cuts.
"I didn't mean to upset you so badly." She's sincere, but not shrinking with the apology. She just didn't expect such a... powerful reaction. "I can take care of myself, you know."

She was on her feet before he could object, of course he could have gotten away if he really cared, but he didn't. Better to let her do what she wanted. His skin was already stitching itself back together by the time she took his hand into hers. Luckily there was no glass stuck in his hand, if there was it was already getting healed over.
"You didn't upset me." He spoke in the same low tone, his eyes on hers. "I simply worry about what they might do to you. I've lost one dear to me already, I know in time you will find your way home, and that is acceptable, but into the clutches of those that would mean you harm just sets fire to my blood in ways hard to describe. I do not wish to see you harmed in my city." his city. "I am caging you like a bird, I do not mean to.I simply worry."

"I doubt they could think of anything I haven't already experienced." Blood. A common thing in her life. It's hardly any at all, but she feels the familiar rush at the sight, the smell. She's practiced in swallowing it down without much acknowledgment. Ignoring it.
Instead, she'll look up, meet his steady, somber gaze.
"I won't put myself to any undue risk. You're my host and it's only polite that I don't make a mess, while I'm here. I just wish I could do something for you." The playful smile comes back. "Other than being quiet and staying out of your hair."

"Still, I do not like the idea. I will not stand in your way, but I will never approve it either." His way of saying she can do what she wants, the same mistake, but it was so hard to tell woman no. His eyes stayed on her when she spoke one.
He shook his head, the ringlet curls bouncing as he did. "There is nothing I need, and unless I am in a black mood, you need not worry about being out of my hair. I do enjoy your company, dear Syeira." He spoke, his fangs pinged just right when he turned his head and the light hit him proper. Leaning closer he nearly whispered near her ear. "Do not let me stop you from doing what feels right."

Oh.
He was suddenly very close, specifically to her neck. Vampires were dangerous in her world, because by and large, they were evil creatures. Undeath just came with that stipulation. But Gyula was not of her world, and not evil. But he was still a vampire, very beautiful, and very close to her neck just now.
Syeira breathed, slow and deep to keep calm, but a little tension held just in her shoulders. She licked her lips, looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
"Is that what you need to do?" If she was nervous, it wasn't that she might get bitten, but that he might bite her. It was profoundly different.

Something in the way she tensed awoke something in him that had laid dormant so long. Something that he didn't have time to question if it would be ungentlemenly, or seem like he was taking advantage. No, the feeling that swept over him was one he could not ignore. A primal urge, not for blood but a taste of her flesh.
Leaning forward just a breath more his teeth just touched her neck, but never sank in. Instead a soft kiss was planted as the voice spoke lower. "I need nothing, but there are things I want."

She could suddenly feel her heart beating harder. She wasn't afraid. Not in the normal sense. He was not going to hurt her, she knew that. But this was not her comfort zone. Not remotely. She was terrified, but not from the prospect of being harmed.
Her hand tightened around his wrist, not to stop him from anything, but to keep from swaying on her feet. No one had ever been so...assertive with her.
"Gyula..." Her voice was low, not sounding like her own. And she cheated her throat. "Don't think I'm not... I mean, your very beautiful. Extremely so. I mean, I've met elves and you'd stand out against them. But obviously there's more to you than looks. I know that, of course I do. And I'm more than flattered. Gosh, I mean look at you. If have to be blind not to find you attractive-"
He's gorgeous and kissed her neck. Kinda. She would ramble until he stopped her.

He lifted his head just to arch one of those delicate brows and smirk a bit. if he looked pretty somber he shined when his pride bleed through. He lifted his other hand up and pressed a finger to her lips, his long nail touching the bit of skin between her lips and nose.
"Shhh. Say no more yet." he spoke softly, his eyes never leaving her. "How I look has nothing to do with my offer, it is not looks that determine who I desire, though you to are utterly bewitching. And if you say no, I will not push, nor be angry anything like that. Though, for now, this is a one time offer. As if, if you say no, I will not bother you with it again." he wanted to make sure she knew he would not reject her if she said no.
"What is your answer? Would you like to know the things I could do to you?" He added in a hushed tone, despite his calm look there was a need in his tone, a desire burning in those grey eyes.
