[Derek Hale lived alone in an old mansion just on the edge of the wildlife preserve. There is a lot of rumors about the attractive man who isn't very social - you've probably heard them all from him in the witness protection program down to someone swearing he was a werewolf. Of course what is real and what isn't is hard to figure out when he isn't talkative the times he does ride him motorcycle into town to get supplies.
Which is why it's rare that he has been coming into town more and more, spending an odd amount of time at the high school of all places. Those who know him - there are a few he will actually communicate with - knows that he's volunteering and helping the basketball team.
