The hormones were fading, and Gabriel was feeling more in control of himself. He really rather lamented that position because then he couldn't even pretend to be responsible. He was just following biology, like he thought he'd been doing when he started hunting.

So he frowned as he finally thought about the whole thing. "I want everything. Of course I do. I always do. But I know-" He stopped and shook his head. He still couldn't quite admit he wasn't coming up with an acceptable solution. "I'm about to ask a lot of dumb questions. Hope you don't mind." He looked back at Jack, eyes just as intense and maybe a little sorrowful. "Since you can do it, I should ask you first. Would you want to break the bond?
