Gabriel was panting and sweaty, feeling like he was burning up from all the stimulation. His mind had drifted back into those instincts, and he mostly felt pleased to have Jack's large knot in him again as he lay down on the Alpha's chest. But their position did work quite well, and he'd had the benefit of a release, too. He swiped his hand over the spunk on Jack's stomach before he was lying on top of it, and licked it up off his fingers without thinking about it. Any other time he would've been disgusted by the move, but this just felt natural.
He rubbed his face on Jack's sweaty chest, licking him occasionally. He closed his eyes as he slowed down, finally feeling the last of Jack's seed (for now) pump into him. This was how it was supposed to be, so he was happy with it.
Eventually, he would think about how he'd tell Mohinder this, and what he would have to do to properly apologize. But his brain was actively not letting him be upset or stressed. It was actually quite nice not constantly coming up with contingency plans in case something went wrong- but perhaps he wouldn't like it later. Only time would tell, there.
"Mmmm," Gabriel said again. His murmurs were barely audible. "Thank you for staying." It meant more to him than he wanted to say, more than just what the instincts wanted. He was used to dealing with things alone, especially when he'd messed up. He didn't know if he could've actually handled it that time.
