[ He's got a good idea what all that worrying is about it, the elephant in the room that neither of them actually talk about, but Dean doesn't bring it up here either, pushing away from Castiel and tucking everything back into place so he's presentable enough to wander the hallway back to his own tower. He does wipe his hands on the ends of his robes though - don't look at him for that either, Cas, it'll come out - and makes sure his own wand is still neatly stashed in his boot before looping an arm around the other boy's neck. He feels good, relaxed, and he really doesn't want to ruin it with yet another reminder that the thing they've finally got going is at risk of being cut short.

It's not like Dean wants to tell him that Cas could probably do a hell of a lot better than someone like him anyway. Barely passing his classes (though he's amazingly adept at Potions, which Dean argues is too much like cooking not to get right) and a rather poor excuse for a wizard who preferred working with his hands and playing quidditch when he had free time. Castiel had a much brighter future, probably at the Ministry or even here as a professor teaching some ridiculous lessons about muggle theory and divination or something off the wall like that. They wouldn't match, certainly didn't make sense as far as Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws went. Dean just...

He likes Cas, and all of this is ruining his good mood. Which isn't fair. ]

Some place, yeah. [ He switches topics quickly, drawing him out of the stacks to retrieve the books they'd left sit. ] Bet you won't think of this place the same when you're with those study groups of yours, huh?

[ A wink, and he ducks away... just in case Cas feels like elbowing him for that inappropriate comment. ]
