[sometimes, kashuu wasn't sure if yamato was forgetful or if he just played it that way to try and stay out of trouble. there was a chill in the air, but it was sunny, making it one of the few good days this time of year to do laundry and hang it out to dry. naturally, the two of them were supposed to be working on it together, and naturally, he had no idea where the other was.

Placid and calm with just the beginnings of a bite to the air, with the leaves just starting to turn bright colors on the trees.

They were finally free from oppressive humidity and the incessant buzzing of cicadas, and he was intending on taking just a moment to enjoy it when Kashuu came stomping up.]

[distant is the right word for it, but kashuu prefers the icy formality of calling him "yasusada-san". there's also the fact that yamato's given name is just as long as kashuu's full name.

[Icy formality is the game he plays with everyone else. Kashuu isn't quite deserving of that level of... whatever it is that goes on between them. Not-quite respect.

What he does know is that it is satisfying to spark displeasure in him, even with petty little jabs like this.]
