[They used to live near each other, constant play dates set up by their parents- but then Ekko's parents moved for work and of course Ekko went along with them. Now though, he's back in the city and grinning as he recognizes his old friend.]

[Suga's going to be getting a little hot around the collar when Iwa comes back from a shower in only a towel. As far as starting off, I don't really care... Maybe move-in day and they realize 'hey we used to be friends and wow you're really hot i didn't realize because of that whole rivalry thing we had going on for a while'? I can start or you can, I don't care either way... I do prefer prose, though, just btw. (You really don't want to see my brackets, it's... so bad.)]

Did you handle the Network Crisis okay?

[Derailed trains, crashing planes, self-driving cars veering off of roads, nuclear power plants shutting down because of system failures - things got nearly apocalyptic. It was all over the news at the Third Network Crisis.]

We were mostly okay. We weren't too close to anything really dangerous.

Dad got into a car accident, but it wasn't really serious.

It was a bit of a surprise (but by no means unwelcome) to find out that he and Iwaizumi were going to be roommates. They'd been close as children, but then Suga had moved, and they had lost touch. Until high school.

They'd started hanging out again in their first year, and had become fast friends again even without Oikawa around.

But when Suga dropped his last bag on his bed in the dorm room, he looked around. Iwaizumi wasn't here yet, but was supposed to be soon. Suga didn't want to start unpacking just yet, either. So instead, he plopped down on his chosen bed with a small sigh and pulled out his phone. No new messages. And his background picture was one of the whole Karasuno team, on the third years' last day. Chikara was wearing the captain's jersey, and Tanaka the vice-captain's.

He'd have to check in on them soon, they would have new first-years in the coming weeks.

Iwaizumi was partly looking forward to and partly dreading college. After all, it was an entirely new ball game, and he was going to experience being a first year once more. What made it better was knowing Suga was going to be his roommate. At least there was a familiar face, one that he'd been comfortable with since he was a kid.

He hauled up his bags and boxes towards his dorm room, wondering if the other boy was there already, his question getting answered as he unlocked the door, pushing it open with an arm. The lights were on, there were bags around, and there was Suga on a bed.

"Hey," Iwaizumi called to him with a grin as he entered further in the dorm room, setting his boxes down on the floor. "S'good to see you here."
