Text Meme

We have the TFLN, the misfired texts and the sexting, but what about just texts?
You want to text that person, for whatever reason. Because you need to ask something, because you forgot to tell them something, because you miss them. Because you are in danger, because you need to know where they are or simply because you want to share this fact or story that's hilarious and can't wait another minute to be shared.
Serious, romantic, scary, funny, you pick the reason. Just text!
The Rules:
1; Comment with your character's name and series on the subject line.
2; Other characters will reply to yours by sending them a text.
3; It can be anything, you decide! Group texts are also possible!
4; Profit!

We should definitely send him out to the front. It'll get him away from you.

Do I even want to know how? Other than with his existence.

You could've asked me.
[He's not afraid of sparring with you. But he was probably off doing something Miles had decided he needed to do.]

There is that. However, I was meaning the gym.

Maybe that's what you should do instead.
[There's a smirk there that Bass can't see]

No, sir, he can't turn you down if you ask him to join you in the gym. Then you can do whatever in the hell you want and no one can say a word. Not even General Matheson.

Don't tease a man about kissing him, sir. As for cheering you on, I'll gladly show up.

Should I have reason to worry about my honor?
[Even as he asks he makes his way toward the gym]
You do that and I'll be waiting.

[Bass is, too, with his stupid guards (not that they're stupid, but that he has to have them) trailing, even as he sends another to find Tom - pretty much a deliberate insult "come spar with the President" that will be made to look like an honor - you're good enough he's willing to spar with you.
Playing politics is something Bass does well, actually, when not completely unhinged.]
On my way down.
no subject
Just other things, sir.
[He may or may not be teasing. With Jeremy there's really no telling what he's talking about.]
Not going anywhere.
[He was going to see this thing all the way through]
no subject
What other things?
[And that isn't via text, but once Bass is down there and finds him. He's pleased word apparently spread fast, and looks it, earlier upset replaced by amusement and the clear expectation of payback.
There's a flicker of paranoia, for a second, that shows when he leans in to murmur a question he doesn't want anyone else to hear, but. Jeremy's been with them since before all this started, since they were just Bass and Miles trying to decide what to do, like everyone else.]
Do you think they're rooting for me or him? [The militia seems to be loyal, to believe in him, but that Tom would say anything and not expect someone to step up, defend their leaders...makes him nervous.]
no subject
Maybe that'll come out later.
[Jeremy gives him a smile before canting his head a bit and then that face turns serious, voice a low whisper so that only Bass can hear.]
They'd be stupid not to root for you, sir. Besides, they'll root for you because they know you're the superior fighter. They won't root for Tom.
no subject
Damn right I am.
[He shifts, turning to fix Tom with one of his chillingly charming smiles, the one that seems perfectly pleasant, but has an edge to it known to make underlings a little nervous about delivering news that might not make him happy. He moves away from Jeremy to greet the other man, that tiny bit of a manic edge creeping in that shows he's excited.
Then he's back to Jeremy to get ready to fight, stripping off his shirt and reaching for the tape to wrap his hands.]
He's got no idea why he's here...
