arashinoouji: (death agony)

[To Belphegor, nothing much had changed since Mammon's curse had been lifted. The greedy baby would forever be just that, his greedy baby. It's not like he was any taller than the prince, still a couple inches shorter despite their age gap, and that's always amused him. No, Mammon would forever be compact and carry size and that was perfect for him. Easy to still snatch up and drag with him wherever he so pleased, no matter the dent it made in his own bank account. Money isn't something he's ever cared for or bothered thinking too much about, he's a prince. And even when not scooping him up to sprawl somewhere to watch TV or the most gory movies he can find when doing so alone is too boring, he still has no issues seeking the other out if only to bug him for his company.

As it is, when the grunt comes to inform them of their newest assignment Belphegor couldn't be happier. Sure, there were things to keep him occupied around the place and harassing Mammon helped, but the prince was bored out of his mind and nothing was doing it for him. So he had noticably perked up at the prospect of getting to tear someone, preferably a lot of someones even if it's unnecessary, to shreds as soon as possible. Of course he expected the usual complaints from his partner, and the unusual compliance didn't pass his notice. Nothing does. Despite what people outside Varia may like to believe, he is a genius. He just doesn't like doing stuff he doesn't want to, and is far too lazy for his own good when it doesn't involve actually killing or having other kinds of fun.

His bangs hide the side glance he's giving the mist user until the grunt leaves them to prepare to leave, and at that point his grin grows even wider.]

Ushishishi~ No demand for extra pay this time? Sounds like you're sick Mammon~

[The subtle use of the others name in this situation instead of his usual nicknames he loves to throw around is the only hint that he knows something more serious must be going on here. And it's certainly peeked his curiosity, which means Mammon can either tell him or deal with him being insufferable about it for the entire mission. When the prince wants to know something, he will get his answers. One way or another.]
