[ Not too much longer, because Mitsuru is quickly getting more and more confused as Patchouli approaches her. She blinks, in surprise as a flash of redness crosses her face. ]

[ Mitsuru goes a bright red, she can't even pull away or hide her face because Patchouli has got her in the hug to end all hugs. Her mind is racing as she figures out what to say. ]

[ She swallows nervously, not sure what to do about this closeness. ]

[She's going to push this a little further and lightly, ever-so-lightly, brushes the tips of her fingers along Mitsuru's cheek.]

[ She doesn't wanna risk losing her friendship!! What is going on? Mitsuru makes a small noise in the back of her throat.

When she feels Patchouli's finger on her cheek, she involuntarily takes a sharp breath and pulls back.

Welp. Looks like someone lost gay chicken. ]

[Okay, okay, Mitsuru, she'll stop, jeez. She just kind of abruptly lets go.]

[ Mitsuru's face is still bright red as she hastily bows her head. ]

My apologies, Patchouli-san. I was just... I had never been that close to anyone before.

There was an enjoyable aspect of it, I must say. A kind of warmth which I have not experienced before.

I'm not sure how to say it, that is all. I was never really required to express any of my feelings. They did not seem relevant in many things I was involved in.
