Monster Transformation meme

(warning: body horror)
Whatever you were before, there's something inside you that needs to surface. You can feel it coming, fast or slow. The change will be painful, and not pretty, and it comes with strange cravings. Can you count on anyone to help you through it? Will your friends accept you in your new form?

you're doing good!
[He lets out another low groan, and by now his pants and shoes are shredded, leaving the lower half of what appears to be a deer's body in their place.]
Thanks. I love your dipper!
Is it even in this book?]
Just hang in there for a second, Dipper... [Tis one isn't her fault! Her family doesn't have any weird turning-into-animal curses!]
ahh, thank you!
[He grinds out, his back hooves digging furrows into the ground. By now, though, whatever started happening is done now, leaving a half-deer, half-boy in the place of what used to be just plain old Dipper.]
...I think it stopped.
no subject
...A deer? You're not going to turn into bambi, are you?

[He mumbles more to himself than anything, trying to stand. He doesn't get very far at all with his legs trembling as they are. They feel like jelly, detached and unreal somehow.]
no subject
IF you grow a snout, I"m out of here.
no subject
Great. I can't even get up like this.

no subject
You didn't- see anything weird coming over here, did you?
no subject
I think I would have mentioned it.
no subject
This kind of stuff doesn't just happen.
[He sighs again, his ears flicking forward as he finally manages to get to his feet, shakily.]
Here- hand me the journal again. There's got to be something in there.
no subject
[She hands over the journal, though.]
no subject
Look, are you sure you didn't see anything? At all?
no subject
Anyway, isn't it usually the cursed one who sees something weird?
no subject
Yeah, but I think I would have noticed too, wouldn't I?
no subject
She's not... that horrible. Right? She hoped, but.]
no subject
Well, whatever happened, it happened. So now we have to figure out how to fix it. The journal doesn't seem to really have anything I can see, though.
no subject
What about that dumb black light thing you used? [Being helpful is sort of new.]
no subject
...And I...don't know if I can walk.
no subject
You're lucky I'm in a helpful mood. [She'll just. Try and prop him up.] now move.
no subject
It's not as easy as it looks! I try to take a step and my legs just- [He gestures, vaguely.] -go wherever!
no subject
Well. Make them go wherever in a forward motion. [dang it, horses are so much easier to lead...]
no subject
[He grimaces, but does...well, try, at least. He makes it just a step or two before he starts to wobble again.]
no subject
Don't you have animal instincts or something? [Maybe he just needs a good shock to take his brain out of the picture.]
no subject
Well if I do, they're taking their time showing up.
