[ Cashmere's first impression of Johanna: pathetic. She mentors the year of Johanna's games, and can still remember her instructions to her own tributes: don't waste your time on the girl from Seven, she'll get herself killed without your help. But Cashmere was wrong, and her smugness turned to surprise, and then anger. In a way, she still holds it against Johanna - not because One lost (in the end, who cares), but because being wrong is humiliating, and Cashmere had never seen that loss coming.
But Johanna did win, so Cashmere has to see plenty of her anyway, even if she'd rather not. They can both do as they please in the limited semi-privacy victors have, but do need to play nice at sponsor parties. Playing nice in this case means that when their paths cross, Cashmere at least drops her voice to a whisper: ]
