④ Empire → You and your spouse are merging your businesses and/or property to create something more influential or profitable.

Mercifully, the makeup on Yamaguchi's face keeps any hint of a blush from showing through, but it's obvious that he's embarrassed.]

And he forgot to bow too, didn't he? Heat rises to his face. Usually he manages to stay on his guard enough that these things don't happen. He sticks to the rules laid out for him even if he makes a game of toeing the line.

[Well, if Yamaguchi was anxious before, now he's a damn wreck. He may have practiced for a lot of potential conversation turns, but he wasn't expecting something so direct (so accusing) from his new fiancé. Especially not when said fiancé is a member of the Oikawa family—if Yamaguchi had to make a comparison, what Oikawa just said to him is more like the kind of thing Tsukishima would say. And even he would probably get in trouble for it.

Yamaguchi's not used to having Tsukishima's acid words turned on him. Now he understands why people get so worked up about it.]

He sees the look of borderline embarrassment on Oikawa's face and assumes it's got to have something to do with Yamaguchi's own behavior.
