Marriage for love is a such a modern concept. In the past, marriage was
recognised as a social contract. Unions were entered into for many
reasons: to obtain property, to unite families, to carry on a bloodline,
et cetera. Whatever the reason, congratulations, you're getting married!

POSSIBLE REASONS FOR MARRIAGE:
① Station → You come from a royal, noble, or otherwise distinguished family who has chosen a suitable spouse for you.
② Feud → You are being married to put an end to the bitter enmity between your two families.
③ Economics → Your economic state and/or your station will improve through the union, though one of you may be marrying down.
④ Empire → You and your spouse are merging your businesses and/or property to create something more influential or profitable.
⑤ Tribute → You have been offered as a gift or appeasement, alternately you're the spoils of war.
⑥ Bloodline → Carrying on your distinguished family name has fallen to you and the equally well-bred spouse of your family's selection.
⑦ Disapproval → Your marriage has been arranged to keep you away from the person with whom you truly wish to be.

POSSIBLE SCENARIOS:

Castiel wastes no more time in pressing his lips to Molly's gently. His are slightly chapped given he doesn't really remember to moisten them very often and cold since this is Winter's strong hold.

Molly leans into the kiss, wrapping her arms around him to share of her warmth; her lips parting softly against his. She doesn't mind the cold these days, and she wants him to know that she will be with him wholeheartedly. That she would stand beside him, come what may.

Castiel is already in love with kissing Molly. Her warm breath and gentle touch make his vessel...no his body tingle. Jimmy was gone now sent to Heaven when Castiel made the choice to Fall. The body is his now and very interested in what is going on.

She can feel the way that he responds to her touch, and threads the fingers of one hand through the hair at the nape of his neck; deepening the kiss. With the other hand, she captures one of his, and draws it to the curve of her hip. Her senses are already attuned to his emotions and intentions from the time that they have spend together, and she uses that power to anticipate his needs, his desires, just as she might do in battle.

Castiel lets his free hand slide down to the small of Molly's back and rest there comfortable and safe. He doesn't need to breath of course but after a long moment he pulls away so that Molly can. "Kissing is indeed very pleasurable," he comments in his normally dry manner.

"It is," Molly agrees, a little breathless. That Castiel has felt it worthy of comment speaks a great deal more than his mere words. "It is my understanding that marriage often affords a great many pleasurable experiences."

He smiles. "So I am told," he says, "though reading about those experiences and actually doing them are two different things. You may have to teach me."

"We'll learn together, then," says Molly, stroking Cas' jaw. "I haven't had much chance to experience such things, either. Not under my mother's watchful eye."

Cas leans into the touch. "Your mother could teach other parents how to guard virtue without damaging a child's soul," he says warmly, "She even shook my faith the first time I met her."

"She is a force to be reckoned with," Molly agreed. She and her mother uad their differences, but they'd worked things out. Having Castiel as Molly's constat companion seemed to assure Charity that her daughter wouldn't go too far astray. Or at least that there would be someone to pull her back to safety if anything should go wrong.

"Have you thought about how soon you would like to go through with the ceremony?"

"I would think the next full moon would be wise," Castiel replies, "magical power is always highest then and it is only two weeks away so it gives Mab less time to contest if she wishes to try." He smiles. "My own power will be at it's height then as well. Moonlight is one of the purest things my Father created."

"Good," she murmurs, smiling back at him for a moment before her lips find his once more. As sudden, and unexpected as this proposed union might be, somehow it just feels right. "Let us make ready."
