Seven Minutes In Heaven, more like Seven Minutes Of Nope. 03) Seventy Minutes | You're so involved in smooching that neither of you notices the door has been locked and everyone else has left the room! Not until it's too late. 04) Unrequited | Tell them how you feel (so many! emotions!!). Even if you're a little too enthusiastic and your love is unrequited you have seven minutes of smooching to do, as per game rules. Where has this hottie been all night? Who cares, now they're yours! 08) Long Lost Smooches | You haven't seen them in forever and didn't know they were going to be here tonight. Resolve that UST! 09) Party Pooper | One of those involved is upset because of #PartyShit and now they're trapped in a closet after getting dragged into playing a game they tried to avoid. Cheer them up? With kisses? Good plan. 10) Get A Room | Your seven minutes are up but neither of you wants to stop. Relocate to a spare room!

[ Katarina could barely believe any of this.

She wasn't sure how she'd gotten roped into this stupid game-- first her summoner takes her to a place called Haven and now this?!-- but the fact remained: she was now here. In the closet. Waiting for her "companion" to follow her in. It was dark and cramped, with barely any legroom.

When the closet door opens, she's briefly blinded by the light and sound that come streaming in. She all but hisses and recedes behind the hangers. ]

Let's just get this over with.

Steve is a firm advocate in keeping people's spirits up in difficult times. Sometimes that means ridiculous indulgences. Today, it means games that he's not entirely sure he wants to be party to but is too proud to turn down, so-- here he is? Doing the thing? Doing the thing.

Which is why he's currently in a closet with Katarina, trying not to take up too much space. Which. Is a valiant effort but a moot point, since the closet is barely broad enough for his shoulders.]

[ Dammit Steve, are all men built that way where you come from!? Katarina's back is flush against the wall, and she can still feel the body heat radiating off of him. She had never heard of this stupid game until tonight, and while she would much rather have not be stuck in this closet, she decides that Steve was better company than anyone else. ]

This is stupid.

[ She's glaring steadily up at him, her arms folded across her chest. ] I'm not entirely sure what this is going to accomplish.

[He ekes his shoulders up into a shrug, with an effort. The thin closet door actually flexes ominously.]

Everybody needs down-time once in a while. It helps people relax.

[He's not relaxed. He's probably the opposite of relaxed, because since when has Cap ever done well having women in his immediate vicinity? Katarina's a comrade of his first and foremost, but only a fool could miss the fact that she's beautiful.]

So... getting locked in a closet aside, you having fun at least?

[He could probably answer that himself. Her idea of fun is usually a little (a lot) more violent than this.]

[Figures: the one time Kon saves the world early enough to attend one of his friends' parties, he's thrown in a closet with a complete stranger. Granted, she's a total babe - and under normal circumstances, he would've kissed her, no questions asked. Okay, maybe with a few questions, because he thinks he would've remembered seeing her around. (She's not a hero, he thinks, because Cassie would've introduced him to her.)

In the meantime, he leans against the wall, pushing the coats aside as he dares to make eye contact with her. You usually ask before you kiss a stranger, right? Dammit, his friends must've had a sick sense of humor, to dump him in the closet only days after his break-up.] Hey there.

[ Her eyes dart to the closet. The last thing she wants is someone seeing the both of them in this place. ]

And this is... relaxing.

[ She quirks a brow, though a hint of derisive amusement enters her voice. She herself isn't exactly relaxed, either, but having Steve here puts her at relative ease; he's someone she trusts, though even she can't understand how or why. Even being practically smashed against him in this closet was made all the more bearable due to the fact that it was just Steve in here with her, and--

In the half-light of the closet, Katarina finds herself looking to his face again, noticing just how close they're standing. She looks and hopes to whatever deity that exists out there that he can't see the way her face flushes at the realization. ]

Not even a little.

[ Katarina grumbles. Steve is definitely right on that one: this party has an alarming lack of carnage. There isn't a knife fight to be seen, and it bores Katarina to tears.

Regardless, she hasn't really had the opportunity to talk to Steve. Not like this. Now, removed from Haven and all of its terrors, Katarina sucks in a breath. She doesn't know when she'll be able to get another opportunity like this, and so she takes it. ]

... I never thanked you. For getting me to the clinic that day, I mean.

[She'd only agreed to stop at the party for a few minutes to talk to Elena about something, which had turned into longer, but that didn't mean she'd been interested in the idea of being shoved into a closet.

And yet, here she was with a guy she'd never even seen before and even in passing, she probably would have recognized him, if not known his name. Their high school had been decently big but not that big.

And the greeting had her lips in a thin line.] Hi.

[Seven Minutes In Heaven. It was a game that she expected the kids at school to play not all of the teachers on a work night out when everyone has had a couple of drinks. But hey, at least she was in this room with Danny and no one else. Things would have gotten awkward quickly if that was the case. It was lucky since none of the other teachers knew about them yet.

She smiles a little at him, her eyes getting bigger in that way they tend to do. She bites down on her bottom lip as she takes a couple of steps towards him, straightening out his tie once she’s standing in front of him.]

Seven minutes it is, Mr Pink. Not long enough in my opinion but it’s a start.

Is this normal for Mystic Falls? [He can't help smiling, even though he's pretty sure Smallville isn't that much bigger. For God's sake, he lived on a farm! Compared to that, nearly every other town looked bigger.] The whole 'let's grab two randoms into a closet and see what happens' thing?

[He cautiously scoots closer.] I'm Conner, by the way. I went to summer camp with one of the guys, and since I was around, I figured... [He shrugs.] A few minutes kind of turned into this.

[This is by far the worse joke in the history of jokes. The second Eric stumbled into the closet he spun around to try opening the door no luck.]

[ Bandou had been standing in the closet, waiting eagerly to see what cute girl the guys paired him up with. But that voice... that totally wasn't a chick's voice. ]

[Truth be told, Barry Allen's version of a party usually included Xbox, movies, maybe trivia night just for fun. Not that he wasn't social or anything, but he never really jumped into the "traditional" college experience of loud parties with kegs, beer pong, and people hooking up. Still, Iris had invited him, and he couldn't think up a good excuse fast enough before he'd "agreed" to tag along. Thankfully, he was able to convince Cisco to tag along too, so he would at least have somebody to hang out with.

Except that he lost his new friend within the first fifteen minutes of showing up at the house, and hadn't seen him since. It was kind of impressive, considering Barry could search the entire house three times in just a few seconds, but he didn't have much success, so he spent most of his time slowly sipping a couple drinks, wandering from group to group, and trying not to look too uncomfortable.

It was working pretty well, actually. At least until he's suddenly crowded into a dimly lit closet and the door shut behind him.]

Iris! Come on, this isn't funny. [He tries to get out, but the closet was either locked from the outside or the door was blocked by something. Either way, he wasn't getting out until someone came by to let him out. He'd just... have to sit and wait and finish his rink, but it doesn't take long before he realizes that he's not alone in the small closet.]

Cisco?

[Eric looked over at Bandou with a blank look. Oh right. Bandou was in here too.]

[She's not unarmed, not even in a fairly lighthearted situation such as this one. There's a Glock shoved into the back of her waistband under her shirt, and she reaches for it now, all the while smiling pleasantly at the man.]

[ Grimacing hard because he can hear laughing from the other side of the door. Damn that shorty Yata. And he bets Chitose had something to do with this too. ]

Nothing! For seven minutes I'm doing NOTHING!

[ Said loud enough so the guys can hear and he slumps down next to Eric. ]
