You're just an average Joe (or Joanna, as the case may be). You live a normal, unassuming life and go on with your day-to-day business. There is, however, one thing about you that is a little unusual - beside your sparkling personality.

You're dating a superhero.

So, what's in this week's issue? Are you childhood friends come together? Do you actually know your love is that caped crusader? If you do, is it a thorn in your side that you will always come second to the cause? Of course, there's always going to be that annoying time where they try to "protect" you by breaking up with you. Oh joy. Well, at least, how's your sex life? Surely those super powers can make for some interesting bedroom trysts. Maybe after one of them, you can tell your beau that you're a superhero, too.

...but what if your significant other isn't the hero? What if they're the villain?

[So this spider guy is ridiculously hot...body-wise at least...maybe his suit doesn't really give her any details beyond overall shape and musculature, and maybe she kind of loves being rescued and swept off of her feet every now and again. But at the end of the day, it's just a silly crush. She loves her boyfriend Peter, and he's the one she's off to see. So after an awkward grinning apology and tripping over a park bench, she dashes away from the webcrawler to the cafe where she was supposed to meet Peter so they can study together over cocoa and pastries.]

[Or, well. She can study, and he can tutor. He seems like he knows everything already! There's not much she can give him in return, except for her love and loyalty. And she's got plenty of THAT in supply!]

[When Mina reaches the cafe, a quick scan shows that she somehow managed to get there ahead of him. Wow, lucky! She wasn't entirely sure he'd believe her if she said she got held up by some freaky dude in spandex and rescued by Spider-Man. Might as well order for him! She steps up to the counter, ordering two mugs of hot chocolate and a cherry tart for them to share...which she wouldn't have been able to do if that villain had made off with her purse, the vile fiend! No one, but NO ONE, can stop Minako from treating her super awesome brainy nerdy boyfriend!]

[Darcy hadn't exactly had high expectations when she'd snagged the internship at a local science lab. It had all come down to some crossed wires in the registration department, since political science wasn't exactly science science. But she was getting the credits she needed to graduate, and that was what had mattered at the time. She definitely hadn't expected to meet any good-looking, funny guys hanging around the lab and yet she'd found one. Over the months she and Wally had grown close and Darcy took every opportunity she could to get him alone.

She'd heard him coming down the hall, and so laid in wait by one of the lab's storage closet. When he got close enough she snagged him by the lab coat and pulled him in for a kiss.]

She looked up groggily from the pillow when he walked in, giving him a sleepy smile. She couldn't be angry at him for coming in so late (or early. It depended on how you looked at it). It was his apartment, after all, and she'd been out all night, too.

"Mmm, hey Sexy," she said, pushing herself up on one elbow. She was wearing one of his dress shirts, the cuffs unbuttoned and rolled up, and her blonde hair was artfully mussed, as though she had been sleeping. Yet...her makeup was still perfect. Then again, her makeup was always perfect. Robyn Queen was never, ever seen without her face on. Not even by her boyfriend...Who wasn't supposed to be expecting her in his bed. He still hadn't given her a key, after all.

Thirty minutes before, he'd received the alert from his security system. The window at the fire escape had been tripped, and the video feed showed his tall blonde significant other stumbling into the living room wearing a miniskirt and a sequined halter top, pausing to pull off her very expensive stiletto heels lest she be even less graceful on her way to his bathroom.
