Thorin grumbled under his breath as they made their way through the forest. He and Fili had gone off to collect firewood. Somewhere along the way they'd gotten lost. Damn trees. This was why he preferred mountains by a long shot. Thorin glanced over his shoulder to make sure his nephew was still near.

"It'll be dark soon, Fee, we need to find our way back soon," Thorin's voice was a low growl, not out of anger at Fili, he was just tired and exasperated. "Does anything seem familiar?"
