[ This ceased to be merely a game for fun when ice was picked to go up against fire, and now there's some weirdly competitive mood firing through Jack's cold blood as he goes at this like a man on the front lines of war because everyone expects him to back down to a guy that can spit flames, and that just will not do. He has the pride of winter to uphold, something something male posturing, and it doesn't have to make sense for him to want to win. And he is going to win, he's decided. The rules never said he couldn't send whorls of frost over Zuko's too-warm lips and tongue, only that their bodies couldn't touch. Jack is working entirely within jurisdiction, thank you very much, and if he keeps his body-temperature only a little above freezing just to try and psych the other man out, well. That's just a thing.

So the kiss is invasive and messy, a little cold and sloppy like winter slush that gets absolutely everywhere and tries cooling Zuko down with every pass of a tongue stroking his own, pouring chills down his throat.
