"That is so." It's quite hard to resist the urge to pull a face and comment on how marvellous it is that anyone remembers her brother well, considering how he likes to hide, and hide all of them away (and after her return he got really ridiculous on that, to the point where she had to accuse him of wishing that her son had never been born to stop acting like she was three and he her father).

"It is quite a way, and more dangerous now than the last times that I were on this path; yet I wish to see them again while I can still reach them."

She saw Fingon briefly before the Nirnaeth, and though it was not much, it was a small piece of warmth that helped her through the word of his death. She can not protect her cousins, in the end, and all the more likely it is that they will not survive for long, exposed on a mountain rather than holed up inside rock. And if they should leave the world of the living... they have sworn, and not lightly, and though she would not say it she doubts that they can succeed. She wants, needs this piece of warmth to carry her through the darkness of having lost them when the time comes.
