Loki was as wary of the stranger as the other man was of him. The prince didn't know what to expect, a giant? A troll? But a human wasn't it. This place didn't look anything like Midgard, yet the one who appeared appeared human enough. It was only when the man got closer that the god sensed something different about him. Perhaps not simply mortal after all.
"I am Loki." As he introduced himself, he watched, waiting to see if any sort of recognition followed his name. If none came, then he could be reassured that this was sufficiently far enough from Asgard to privately deal with his problem. "Are you native to this strange city?"
