"I did," she admitted, looking back up at him. "But that was a long time ago." Dara paused then, moving her fingers up and down his arm absently. "You remember that time you tracked me down out in front of the old house before they tore it down? Out in the rain?" she asked. Then she paused to give him a moment to respond before continuing, "that's when I knew it. I just...saying that sort of thing isn't easy for me. We both know my past well enough to know why."
