"STOP," she says, her voice hoarse, yet solid. "You simply don't frighten me because I know you. You wish you could faze me, but you don't. You are who you ARE, Loki," she continues, her hands still trying to cup his face, but the sting almost unbearable. "This face....this face that you try to valiantly to obscure......it's not wrong."

[She pauses, breaking her touch in order to shake the numbness loose from her hands.]

"Why are you trying to hide....?" she inquires, this time earnestly.

[Knowing their once-intimate history, she leans in, brushing her lips to his in his true form, only as much as the sensitive skin can stand.]
