[ooc : haha, annoying younger siblings, eh? And let's go, then. Your Loki travels, if you don't mind, as it would probably be less spoilery to set this into the MCU? I went with post-Avengers, as it seemed a crucial enough moment. Let me know if this works for you.]
Loki sighs impatiently, glaring at the setting sun with rising rage. The handcuffs on his hands clink as he shifts, heavy and binding his magic down. They have not put him in a prison cell while he awaits the All-Father's judgement for his crimes, but he is still heavily restrained and kept a prisoner in his own room, with nothing to keep him company save for memories of a life that was nothing but a lie. If Odin means to have him executed, Loki wishes he would hurry and get on with it.
He looks up as he hears a muffled noise coming from behind the curtains, his eyebrows arching. He was fairly sure to be on his own so far and, bound as he is, he could not defend himself against an enemy. There is a distinct tingle of magic coming from behind the draperies too, a magic that feels oddly familiar. He squares his shoulders and lifts his chin defiantly, his eyes narrowing.

"Show yourself."
