Over a month later... Sorry!

[ There's a bubbling excitement inside of her and it feeds into an effervescent grin. Robin would float away, she thinks, if she didn't have such a firm grip on his hand. This whole scenario is such a rarity for her and while she doesn't mind the long stretches of loneliness, there are still times when she knows she could really benefit with a human touch.

Ascending the stairs in silence, she finds herself pleased that no one seems to be out in the halls. It wouldn't be the end of the world, but it's much easier if they can avoid awkward passing smiles with strangers who can probably guess more than they should be able to when observing the pair's flushed skin and coy expressions.

At the door, Blake's forced to drop his hand as she digs for her keys in the low light of the hallway. It's not the nicest apartment or the best neighborhood but she never feels unsafe, not even on late nights when she's heading out to begin a late shift.

She pushes the door open and then steps back to allow Miles to go first.

Should I open a bottle of wine?

[ It would probably mostly go to waste, but she feels like it might be worth it to have a couple minutes where she's got something else to think of beyond letting him completely ravish her in every way he can think to. And besides, it's the only alcohol in the house (and probably reserved for cooking).

Once inside, her keys are deposited in a tray by the door. The apartment's very sparsely decorated and lacking many of the homey touches that might suggest she spends some time there.
