It might be fun to do something like the 1920's, maybe have it be a speak easy or you can have mobsters and cops? Singers and jazz musicians? Stuff like that. Great Gatsbey-esc jazz age stuff?

Perhaps a Random roller of time periods that characters get stuck in to. So someone might be roman times, someone else might be the future. If it hasn't been done before.

Based on all those "you have false memories of having a relationship with this person" how about one based on the characters recovering their true memories?

Like they have been living/working/etc with Character Z as their spouse/child/sibling/work partner/whatever believing that was their reality until they wake up one day with their real memories back?

Both shipping and gen options, helps with that "but WHY would our characters be interacting in the first place" initial hurdle, and the characters will inherently care about what's going on

characters post a link or excerpt or whatever from their canon with them in it, OOCly (no blank top posts. unless you want to do it the other way around I guess?) preferably something dramatic/embarrassing/NOT BORING

suddenly that scene is on a big tv or the characters are reliving it via holodeck or whatever and the characters react to the scene

anyway the reason I posted this up here is because I don't think I'd be able to do it justice myself so anyone can use it

Some brotherly/sisterly memes would be great though too.

I play some adult secondary characters from canons with child heroes

so they get along with the kids in their canon, and have healthy and happy friendships with children young enough to be their children and grandchildren

only problem is when I try to extend this to RP (I don't tag kids with them exclusively but it's in character for them to interact with kids a lot) I feel like a creeper even though I know it's completely platonic

i am a creeper because those relationships make up about 50% of my shipping roster.

if it makes you feel any better, most people don't sideeye it unless you get pushy or really really overt. and that's just the person you're rping with. everybody else is too busy with their own shit to care.

there's too much hate and negativity in the world, and it hurts when you come here to try and distance yourself from it and you end up seeing *more*. Geez! can people *NOT* turn something into sriz bznzz the way they do with everything else? it's supposed to be *FUN*. Yah know, *FUN*? sometimes it seems like people's idea of fun is coming on here and spitting all over everything.
