3. Avengers AU: the arc reactor doesn't protect him from the scepter, and Loki is able to successfully mind-control Tony. I am fully on board with taking this as angsty as it will possibly go, up to and including the others having to kill Tony (bonus points for moment of horrible clarity where he gets to realize what he's done just before he dies)

4. BYOAU. Shoot me a PM if you have other ideas, I fucking love AUs.

I normally play AkaRed as post-Gokaiger semi-AU where he was revived at the end of the series due to the return of all the Rangers Keys to their original owners. However, there are a couple of AU ideas that I'd love to play out:

1) Depowered/Alive All Along AU - AkaRed survives the collapse of his group, the Akaki Pirates, but at the cost of his powers. Willing to RP either him wandering by himself, or having been reunited with the Gokaigers at some point mid- or pre-series.

2) Amnesia!AU - Same as above, but with Amnesia on top of everything.

3) His Own Team AU - He is the only Sentai to not have a team of his own. Would love to get together wit some people and come up with other Sentai like AkaRed (AoBlue, MomoPink, etc.). However, wouldn't mind a variation where he gets adopted into an existing Sentai team, such as the Boukengers or Gokaigers.

Got a few ideas here if anyone is interested.

1. Winter Soldier AU: Steve and Bucky swap places with Steve falling off the train and being brainwashed by Hydra, while Bucky takes up the mantel of Captain America or not depending on the Bucky. This is not my idea a great AU Bucky came up with it. I'm just trying my own spin on it. Steve has no metal arm for example.

2. Skinny Steve AU: Steve was never given the serum or it didn't work but he managed to bluff his way into the army and make it to the front lines anyway where he proved Captain America didn't need to have muscles to be a hero.

3. Avengers AU: Steve is the one who makes the sacrifice play not Tony what happens after that is up to the tagger.

1. Arrow AU: Malcolm Meryln returned from Nanda Parbat but instead of seeking revenge for the death of his wife he because the hero called the Black Arrow. He will do whatever is needed to save Starling City.

2. Once Upon A Time AU: Malcolm Merlyn is the mythical character called "The Trickster" Why he is in Storybrooke after all this time no one knows, but he could be a friend or foe depending on what price you want to pay.

Hydra AU: Phil Coulson is Hydra's most trusted agent...or is he? Clever, ruthless and cool as ice, he has his own plan for the reveal and heaven help anyone who gets in his way.

Avengers AU: Loki chose not Clint Barton to mind whammy but Phil and the damage was a lot worse before he was taken down. Before, during or after mind whammy are all fair game for thread ideas.

Super Soldier AU: They said the serum never worked again, they said no one got close to the success Steve Rogers was. But what if they did? What if Phil Coulson was the second super soldier but he kept his super powers a secret. There is a reason he was able to kick ass with a bag of flour and his own mad skills.

1) Almost always end up doing a form of mental/torture brokenverse with this one. I have a weakness for it, apparently. Could be mutual, mind you.

2) Space Pirate!AU - any time. Day or night. Normal Pirate!AU is fine too, fwiw

3) Post-apocalypse AU - obviously someone has some career changes at this.

4) Regency AUs/History AUs - like all of them!

1. Stealing shamelessly from this brilliant idea, wherein Clint gained the ability to see his next target before they attack. Unfortunately, his target normally matches SHIELD's next target, and Fury decided it was likely better to keep him where they could "monitor" him. It is, after all, beneficial to have a lead time on who their next enemy should be. Except, of course, for the past month or so, everyone's figured the powers are fading because Clint keeps identifying SHIELD as the next target, which doesn't seem quite right.

2. The "I was undercover, and someone broke my SHIELD" AU, wherein Clint was undercover and came back to a SHIELD in pieces, and decided to slip in as a Hydra operative, working to get information back to the Avengers. Other characters meet him as a hydra spy. Are the in on the ruse? Do they think he's really hydra? Are there still hard feelings about that whole brainwashing trying to take down the helicarrier thing? Hey, weirder shit has happened.

3. NYPD (or other metropolitan cop) AU - wherein Clint and the Avengers all work for the NYPD solving crimes and being a badass team. Maybe there's a serial killer named Loki who keeps showing up and spouting off about world domination but turns out to be the brother of one of their own! They can't quite pin down this Hydra group that keeps causing havoc and they're rumors of crooked cops in the system (Sitwell, literally everyone is looking at you), and rumblings about gigantic secrets that need ferreting out (Fury, are you keeping weapons collected from perps?). Basically just give me human avengers in police uniforms solving crimes and getting a drink to bitch about it later and bad ass Maria Hill as deputy director who won't take your sexist bullshit and Steve and Sam being partners (the first partner Steve's had since Bucky!) and Fury being very done with all this bullshit and the politicians (say what, world council?) trying to run his city. /begs

1. RoboCop AUed into the MCU. Because they just fit far too well. I'd especially love any opportunity for Clara and Pepper to facepalm together. (Also, there's a tiny part of me that ships Clara/Steve after a thread I did a while back, if anyone's interested in going wildly AU.)

2. Space Pirates/Space Cowboys. Either Star Wars or Firefly flavored. Actually, make that any type of space AU.

3. Apocalyptic AU. Zombies? Aliens? Mother Nature going "fuck this shit?"

4. Okay, this one's kind of complicated and would probably be better suited for a PSL, but I'd love to do an AU that plays it a little bit closer to the original film and OmniCorp basically went over Clara's head after the bombing, had Alex declared dead, and went ahead with the RC-2000 project. I'd honestly love to play with any part of that timeline whether it's Clara finding out somehow and confronting anyone (whether it's Alex, Norton, or pretty much anyone from OmniCorp) or dealing with the fallout.

5. Kind of in the same vein as the first, anything involving the original RoboCop universe. I've done one thread with her AUed into it and would love to do more.

6. I'm blaming a friend for this one, but an AU where Clara was the one to check the car instead of Alex. Because, holy shit, the way OmniCorp would market a woman as RoboCop would be so different from how they do it in canon. Also because I'm a terrible person.

7. Supernatural/monster AU. Vampires? Werewolves? I love that shit. And mixing it in with RoboCop is kind of ridiculous and needs to happen.

8. Bring your own AU. Because, honestly, I'm a huge sucker for AUs to come at me.

1. Gabe is alive and the Goodmans are mostly normal AU. Because god knows this fandom needs less angst.

2. Something cyberpunkish? Because Gabe as a ghost in a machine would be kind of fun to play around with.

3. Heroes AU? Because everything needs more "AND SUDDENLY SUPERPOWERS!!!"

4. An AU with Gabe possessing someone to get close to another character.

1. Modern AU? Either set in the real world or a more modern Oz.

2. Fiyero goes to the Emerald City with Elphaba and goes on the run with her. And is suddenly questioning all his life choices because he's dating Glinda/why would he even do this???/ohgod this broom is really high up ohshit.

1. This is more of a concept than a verse, but consider the following:

What if the werewolf transformation was like that of selkies in that they change via wearing a pelt? And that to create new werewolves there is an exchange of fur and blood.

The weres can live without their furs, and retain most of their enhanced abilities, though they are never as resilient, and it can be a very difficult adjustment.

2. Inception AU, with any canon. Because that would be an interesting world to play in.

1). AUing Alex into MCU - I've done this a few times, usually with Alex having a Hydra-based subroutine that can allow him to attack or sabotage heroes when he normally wouldn't do so. Would be open to other AU ideas and I'm okay if Alex gets killed in a thread so we'd have an idea where we'd be shooting toward, plot wise. I can play him as normal personality or neurosuppressed personality.

2). Continuing from a canonpoint in RoboCop 2014 and AUing in from there - for example, I'm pretty fond of taking Alex from when he's neurosuppressed for the press conference. I'd love awkward threads where he has to work together with other cops and they're creeped out by the new Alex Murphy (would especially love a Jack Lewis).

3). AUing Alex into Aliens/Prometheus. Possibly doing something cyborg and android with David 8? I DUNNO. He can be AUed to be an earlier type of android who can't quite pass for human.

I'm a slow tagger, as well. Let me know if you'd want me to be shorter posting or aiming for tl;dr. I prefer prose because easier on htmling.

1). AUing Brock into post Amazing Spider-Man 2 and seeing how that goes. I'd be probably more interested in prose for this.

2). Brock running into MCU people and fighting/being captured (or separated from the symbiote?). I'd also be down with him being involved with Hydra.

3). Brock being a bad influence or being forced to actually chaperone someone for whatever reason. Like community service, or he feels responsible somehow for a change. Probably easiest if the other character is AUed into Spider-Man.

I'm open to headcanon and being loose with timing things. Timeskips are awesome. Slow tagging too.

(starting with the obligatory "haven't actually seen this week's episode yet so please don't say anything that might spoil, but")

1. Hogwarts AU because... well. Important and necessary and always.

2. Some variety of 1940s-50s/noir AU. Whether this would involve just shifting her/whoever forward in time so it'd be keeping with CA:TFA stuff or full-on all the way detectives and Hollywood and gangsters stuff... this just thrills me a lot and I'd be super into it.

3. Less of an AU and more of an exploration of what came before, but I'd be super up for playing academy-era adventures.

4. Bring your own I'm super into entertaining possibilities.

1. I'm always looking for more ways to explore the "Dany fostered by the Starks from infancy" verse I've played in a bit in PSLs. She grows up at Winterfell, she knows who she is but, well, Winterfell so she doesn't have to deal with too many of the consequences of her heritage for a long time; she goes to King's Landing with Ned and the girls when he becomes the hand and is from there on used as a pawn, which she's... less than comfy with. I already have a Jon and a Margaery in this particular verse, but if anyone else wanted in I'd be super up for it.

2. I want a Western-town AU so much. (Deadwood basically; if you're familiar with that canon, I basically see Dany as Alma.) I want cowboys and lawmen and prospecting and saloons and all of it.

3. Bring your own. Possibly this would involve her modern journal being used, depending.

Basically what I'm looking for in the above and in anything I do is an excuse to alter Dany's circumstances and give her opportunities to interact with characters that she doesn't get to interact with in canon. (Or have opportunities to flesh out the relationships with those she does, though most of them aren't seen around these parts nearly enough.)

1. Back in Thor 1 days, Odin banished both princes to Midgard. He stripped Thor of his powers and Mjolnir, and Loki of his Aesir glamour and bound his magic. Stuff happened, Loki and Thor fought together for good, Thor earned his godhood back and hoofed it back to Asgard to deal with a threat there, and Loki continued to help out on Midgard confident Odin would soon restore him/call him back. Unfortunately, before he got the chance, Odin fell into super deep Odinsleep, and he ain't waking up any time soon. Thor is regent of Asgard, and Loki is stuck on Earth in his frost giant form trying to make something of a life for himself in the hope that when Odin does wake up it will have been enough. Works with Avengers/SHIELD; Thor does Avengers-ing part-time. No magic, but he has Jotun ice-based powers, and durability; is working on not seeing himself as a monster, but it's a tough road.

2. Same as above, but: that Loki somehow gets pulled across dimensions and has to interact with cannon MCU-ers and re-earn their trust.

3. Present day MCU-ers interacting with awkward teenage pre-Thor Loki somehow (either he ends up on Midgard or they end up in Asgard).

4. Basically Journey Into Mystery kid Loki: he's like the Asgardian equivalent of 13 because: whoops magic, he knows what older him did, but he can't remember having done it and he's not happy about it, so he's trying to not be such a little shit. He's not great at it.

1) Claire either never encountered the music box or listened to Claud when she said it was bad; shenanigans ensue from there.

2) Claud (and Joshua?) fixes Claire before she can get kidnapped, thank you very much. This could either be 'fuck Evil Giles anyway, Claud finds out through hacking' (as she often finds things) or mostly canon-compliant, up to the fixing.

3) Hogwarts AU because those are always fun.

3) Hogwarts AU based on this meme. She's a 7th year Gryffindor Head Girl and a banshee. She can touch ghosts unlike other witches and she's a smartass.

When Eva died, the twins were not separated. They grew up able to lean on and support each other, which was...good in some ways, bad in others. Vergil, while still becoming rather aloof due to the pressure of being The Responsible One, didn't lose sight of his humanity or what was truly important to him. He can still come off as being kind of a jerk, but it's usually because he thinks it's for your own good.

Dante, meanwhile, failed to learn personal restraint. Since Vergil would always pull him back when he started to cross lines, his naturally rebellious and contrary nature pushed him toward his trouble making tendencies. Between that and resentment over being constantly turned on whenever anyone found out he was half demon, he was the one who began to lose sight of his humanity, so consumed by his quest for revenge that he took up an offer from a certain warlock to help open a Hellgate he could use to both gain enough power to destroy the entire demon world if he so wished and take him to where the being behind Eva's death most likely was...

I have ideas leading into 1 too, but they're not as fully formed yet and I've tl;dr'd enough here.

Okay, so I've been really really itching for a vaguely MCU-verse AU for Noriko here, and though I love Cap (I seriously do) she's probably going to get along best with either a Bruce or Tony, because she's quite a bit like Tony in personality. I'd love to see her 19-year-old mutant self get a job or an internship or something at Stark Industries, and being impressive and all because hey, she's got a damn good grasp on what she's doing. And, well, meeting Tony and seeing whatever hilarity they can get up to. As for Bruce I see them going the 'it actually takes conscious restraint to not damage people/things' route, because electricity is much like the Hulk; once it hits the tipping point it's less than easy to control.

TL;DR--hit me up if you play these people!

I've been playing a semi-AU variation of Blonsky due to movie canon deviating from the comics, but I have some other ideas I'd like to bounce around with as well.

1. "The Consultant" succeeds, but not in the way Coulson or Sitwell intended. Blonsky's awake, and now officially a member of the Avengers. What happens next is anyone's guess...

2. He has a wife and he can't get back to her. (Imprisoned? Free but stuck in America?) Cue angst/anger.

3. It's after events in CA:TWS. He wakes up in his cell in Alaska to find...
