"I've had a pretty good night myself," he explains with a slightly smirky smile, "enough that I'm going to have to get Nat a present for arranging this whole thing."
He gives her arm a little squeeze as they settle in the back of the cab.
"I get it. The crowds thing. The streets are different than they were when I grew up here. They used to be alive, a little dirty, busy but... there was a music to it. Now, it feels like there's a dozen different radios on at once. It's special in it's own way, but I can understand it can be exhausting."
