The Bondage Meme

Similar to the kidnapping meme, only this meme is focused exclusively on one participant or the other (or both!) being bound and/or gagged. Any powers the captive may have that could help them to break loose aren't working for some reason; they'll have to rely on their wits and their dexterity to escape. Assuming they want to, anyway.

- Comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences you may have.
- Roll a scenario (or pick your own) and reply to others' comments; you or your partner is now tied up! OP says it's more fun if you go into further detail.
- Be excellent to each other and respect each other's boundaries!

Scenario

1. Kidnapped! - Do I even have to say anything? You've been kidnapped, possibly for ransom or blackmail, or maybe they're just a creepy stalker. Hope rescue is coming soon...

2. Kept out of the way - Maybe your house is being robbed, maybe you walked in on a drug deal...whatever the case, it's not you they're after. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time and got trussed up and put somewhere you won't interfere. Don't try anything funny or they might hurt you though!

3. Fake kidnapping - Need an alibi for a murder? Want to mooch some quick money off of your rich family? Willing to do something drastic to get your lover's attention? Whatever the case may be, you need someone to tie you up in order to get away with it. It's a little scary, but it'll be worth it in the end. Besides, you can trust them! ...Right?

4. For safety - You're a danger to yourself and others, and the only way to ensure that nothing goes wrong is to tie you down.

5. Play bondage - We've all had that crazy drunken story about duct taping our best friend to the ceiling. Be it a friendly game of cops and robbers or a little playful birthday hazing, you know it's all in good fun and there's no hard feelings. Doesn't mean you won't punch your friend once you get out of this though.

6. Crack - Why is everybody laughing? You swear you just tripped and got tangled in your roommate's yarn collection! This prompt is for general ridiculous scenarios that put you in a bind.

7. Sexual - The obligatory smut prompt, for those who like it kinky. Just remember your safewords, kids.

8. Wild card! - Reroll, mix and match, or pick your own.

Bindings

1. Rope - The staple of good bondage.

2. Cloth - For when you can't find anything else or don't want to hurt your captive, silk scarves or other convenient fabric can do the trick. Plus stuffing a smelly old sock in their mouth is always a classic.

3. Duct tape - Another classic in bondage, but a lot more painful to take off.

4. Chains - Handcuffs, chains, padlocks, all the good stuff that comes with tougher bondage.

5. Zip ties - Plastic ties used for fastening cables together. They only zip one way, so the only way out once they're tight is by cutting them!

6. Supernatural - For those who prefer tentacles, vines, magical hair, etc.

7. Other - Anything else that isn't on the list.

8. Wild card! - Reroll, mix and match, or pick your own.

[Clint Barton has had a lot happen to him in his life. Sometimes it does feel like his marbles are still scrambled but other times- well. This is something he can't really miss. Something he refuses to miss.

This guy's a ghost and the fact is that there's no way SHIELD could have caught him. No way.

So he had to have been planning something. Natasha refused to come down here, to take a shift, so Clint is there, hands folded in front of him, posture military as he watches the handcuffed and zip-tied political ghost. There's a certain amount of tension in Clint's posture. He wants to say something.

He'll restrain himself for now.]

...I thought you'd be taller.

[Okay maybe not.]

[Handcuffed, zip-tied, and missing one arm. It still doesn't mean he's helpless. He just gives Clint a hard look and shakes his hair out of his face.]

Idti yebat' sebya. ['Go fuck yourself.' Short, sweet, and to the point.]

[Okay. Clint puts a hand on his head, massaging his temple before leaning against the wall.

Then he laughs.]

Yeah, no. [He has to wonder again why Natasha won't come down here. Won't look at him.] Too busy keeping my eye on you.

I've never seen a ghost before. How does it feel to be caught?

[He moves forward, perching on a chair. Caught? He doesn't believe that in a heartbeat. This guy wants to be here.]

I mean, I have no doubt that you could get out of here at any point, but when you do. I mean like, how are they gonna punish you? [Clint's Russian is rusty as hell barely understandable but he still pulls it out.] I heard that when you piss off your superiors they take your dick.

[He knows the Black Widow is working for the Americans. He does not, precisely, know that it is Natalia -- nor does he remember her, aside from in odd fits and starts that he is never quite certain about.

In any case, he watches Clint carefully, shifting his weight as the other man moves closer. Handcuffed and zip-tied might make things difficult, but he can improvise if necessary. He ignores most of the questions, save for the last one, and bares his teeth in an unamused smile.] My superiors don't have one of those between them all. I terrify them.
