If you were a kid during the 80s or 90s, I don't have to explain. Everyone remembers those meccas of fun that were awesome, yet somehow still smelled vaguely of stale pizza and shame. Whether you're hanging out in the tubes, jumping in the moon bounce, or shooting some hoops, you're sure to have a blast.

Well, even if you don't, it's not like you can leave. As big as this place is, there seems to be no door. So you might as well just sit back and win some tickets.

[His friends had ditched him.

Sam had said something about traumatic memories and Dean had looked ultimately far more amused than he should've been when they had found out where their current case had lead them, and now Castiel was for some reason all alone in this massive, brightly colored abomination of a building.

He's not entirely certain how anything about this place is supposed to be fun.

Castiel assumes the Winchesters have just run off temporarily, rather than actually ditching him, but this is a hunt and so who knows what might've happened. Hopefully they're alright, at least, and Castiel wanders around the building trying to figure out what he's supposed to do. He's still new at the whole investigating thing, and the smell of pizza is quickly getting really distracting.

He was sitting cross-legged in the viewing bubble, stubbornly refusing to let anyone near him.
He wanted to watch everything in peace. It was too loud and noisy here. Too much ... people and their stupidity.

He's not sure why he had to come here. This was Harry's birthday treat and she brought two of her friends with her. John wonders if Mum just wanted to get them out of the house. She tries to get her son and daughter to bond more but Harry just loved to wind John up. Having two other girls to back her up didn't help at all.

They'd spent the first part of the trip to the play centre hurling balls at John before trying to jump on him and bury him as deep in the pool as possible. He'd managed to escape and now they were preoccupied with going to get some snacks.

He sighs and climbs up to the top layer. He pokes his head in the viewing bubble to see a kid sitting cross-legged. John smiles and creeps up before pouncing forward.

"Boo!"

The boy jumps and then turns away. "Go away." He scowls and turns to look out.
Mother wanted him to come here and socialize and he wouldn't be doing it again.

That is. If she could find him and get him down.
Unlikely at this point.

He's feeling stubborn and sulky.

John just blinks but he doesn't leave. He knows well enough that 'Go away' usually means 'I don't want to be alone'.

He sits down beside the boy; "Do you want a chocolate?"

He offers some of the selection of Harry's birthday chocolate that he'd swiped before they left.

He swipes several out of John's hand, unwrapping them swiftly. "Sister's birthday. She's the dumb one and you're smart and going to be a doctor." It spills out before he has the chance to stuff his mouth with chocolate.

John is more amused than put off by the boy's rudeness and arrogance.

He smirks; "No-ooh. I'm gonna be a soldier! Bang!"

He makes a pretend gun with his hand and shoots the boy in the chest before giggling.

"But yeah, she's stupid." He shrugs, looking out the bubble; "Is that your mum and dad?"

He points to the couple at the adults cafe; the woman with the big coat is trying to wave to catch Sherlock's attention while the man she's with sips his tea.

He shrugs. It should be obvious the couple is his parents.

"Aren't you a little old to be in a place like this?" Says the five hundred year old vampire girl in a ball pit. Granted, she looks like a young teenager or perhaps younger, and doesn't stand out too much... Well, if it wasn't for her pale skin, her eyes and wings.

Haruka shrugs, fishing around; she'd dropped something and a kid had run off with it. The last he'd seen of it had been in here. (Kids. The hope of humanity, really.)

"Aren't you too charming?" she asks, with a nod at the other children - who all seem to be screaming at each other in joy, pain, anger, or a mixture thereof. The wings she'll reserve judgment on until she gets a sense what she's dealing with. If this girl were an enemy, Haruka'd be feeling a lot uneasier.

[By the time Asemu has called out to her, Arcueid has already traversed several meters of bouncy terrain. Hands on her hips, she squints down at her feet, ignoring him in favor of testing out an experimental bounce. The action is a bit reminiscent of a fox on a trampoline.]
