Rapunzel watched carefully as he went to work. She knew enough about ships to figure out how theoretically they should work, but seeing it all actually done in person was something else. Her mother never worked on her ship while she was there. She kept hers in pristine shape at all times.

"It's alright," Rapunzel replied. "I mean, it was an accident after all. Right?"

Part of her was quietly dreading that this was all an elaborate plan to hurt her, just like mother talked about.
