[He didn't hear anything on the news, and as he enters his office, there's nothing amiss. His secretary greets him as usual. His work computer waits, quiet. He turns it on, illuminating it.
Still, he feels no less uneasy. He's not used to making mistakes. Even when he's taken risks and been injured--notably, that time he'd assisted Kaburagi--there were unforeseen consequences, but the end result was ultimately in his favor, so he had not categorized them as mistakes afterward.
This is different. He doesn't know what the consequences, if any, are yet, but if his face was exposed so easily, clearly he's committed an error. He'll have to redesign his mask, maybe, if allowed that opportunity. If it's happened twice now, it could happen again. He doesn't have access to a lab and the best scientists in the field, like the Heroes.
It occurs to him that even if they did see his face, they'll want to take their time and be careful. He's extremely dangerous. They'll want to be sure they can nullify his powers as soon as possible. He hates the idea of them being taken away. Even more, he hates the idea of being placed in the same facility as the criminals he despises so much. He imagines, however, that they'll place him in isolation, since--
He shouldn't think about it. It's not doing him any good. He has to remain wary, but he can't allow himself to grow anxious or preoccupied.
He sits down at his desk with a frown and starts to work, as usual.]
