It's a little weird, feeling him trace the same skin on his hand over and over, entirely too intimate, really, covetous. But, really, pulling away would just make him sad, he thinks, and be a hassle and it's a lot nicer to just sit here and let him do something basically harmless and eat his lasagna. He has this weird feeling there's something he's forgetting, some other reason that he should be wary of someone who looks and acts like Cecil being this friendly to him all at once, in a place like this. But he can't quite place it, or figure out what the problem is. Cecil likes him (...and I fell in love instantly...) so it makes sense that Kevin would too, right?
Seven bites into lunch and there's nothing that rings alarm bells in Kevin's smile at all, anymore, even as it's slowly growing sharklike to the point that it's barely even human anymore.
"There won't be a problem with that? Going to the station, I mean?" he'd actually be interested in doing that even without the chemicals, "If you don't mind me running some tests, I think it would make for some excellent data. But I wouldn't want to upset anything there, if there are other broadcasts going or anything. Are there any other places in town you'd consider interesting?"
