App time is rolling on up again and there's always at least one character you'd like to test out, right?

So let's give 'em a test run!

How to:

[ Momoko is sitting with her knees drawn to her chest, embroidering a round-eyed fawn onto the corner of a handkerchief. Sometimes she hums a few bars of music to herself; and anyone with a decent knowledge of classical composers may recognize it as Strauss, specifically. ]

[Jin is currently perched up high in a tree, staring fixedly up at the sky. As you watch, he crouches down on the branch and takes an almighty leap into the air...before crashing heavily down to earth.]

[Fluttershy, for her part, is making friends with the local fauna. Currently, she's sitting in the middle of the road, staring up at a bird and smiling and nodding as it twitters away about whatever birds are interested in.]

[Kim was sitting on a park bench with her iPhone, texting a friend about their plans for the night. While she had talked to him, she hadn't seen her dad in several months.]

Now that her father was out of the hospital and had been recovering at home for the last week, Sam was more than ready to go back home to LA to her family. She'd just came out of the subway station on her way to the precinct to see her brother when she thought she saw Jack walking toward her.

"Jack? What are you doing here? Where's the kids?"

Momoko! I couldn't think of anyone better after you mentioned Strauss!

[Dave wasn't a student of the arts, but there was something about the music he hears the girl humming that's familiar. Familiar, and soothing.

He moves over to her a bit, glancing down at her handiwork. It's almost entrancing to do so, what with how lost in it she looks and how absorbed and focused her entire person seems to be.]

That's Strauss, right?

[In a private room at the library, Jack sits behind the desk with a tennis ball, an ashtray, a pack of cigarettes, his paper, and a typewriter in front of him. A good handful of pages rests to one side as he leans back in his chair, one hand for his cigarette and another one to bounce the ball slightly on the desk.

It's louder than usual in the silence of the room. Maybe that's what's so aggravating about it: the same, echoing sound traveling through the wall and hitting the ears of those nearby with its dull rhythm.

He's writing, even if he's not hitting those keys.]

[ Momoko nods once rather stiffly, her eyes closely following the motion of the needle as it pierces the handkerchief over and over, sewing light brown spots on the fawn's rump. ]

[He hasn't ever seen someone stitch like that before. At least, not that he can remember. There was so much to go back through when he went through the Star Gate, after all.]

Are you doing that for someone? Is that your job?

[ Her gaze flickers up at him for a brief second. ]

There is no "someone", just me. I enjoy needlework. [ Momoko stills her hands and lifts her head slowly, then, to answer his second question. ] It was a job once, but now it's only a hobby again.

[He smiles at the fawn. He can't remember the last time he saw an animal that wasn't on a screen. Such was the life of an astronaut.]

It's very well done. Mind if I watch?

[He points, meaning to sit next to her, but only if she'll allow it.]

You're stuck here until such a time this place decides to send you back home.

[Local fauna, you say?

Well... Draco may have looked like a giant rock in a yard before, but the twittering wakes him up and he uncurls to look. A little horse sitting in the nearby road? That certainly sounds like dinner to him! Don't mind the looming dragon shadow being cast across the scene suddenly, obviously that's only cloud.]

[ Momoko appears a little unsure at first. Aside from Isobe-san, whom she considers god-like, men have never expressed an interest in her sewing, not even her father.

But she sees no harm in his request in the end and scoots over a few inches to free up more room for him to sit. ]

S-Stuck? What do you mean, stuck?

[starmanchild]

[Aha, god-like, if she should mention that to him...

He sits, cross-legged, and at a proper distance for strangers to do so, neither too close nor too far away. A good spot for him to watch her. It's been so long since he's watched anyone do anything, his last human companion having been blasted into space by the AI aboard their ship.]

It's very cute, the fawn. Do you work with drawings or pictures, or can you see it in your head?

As in, you can't leave.

That is the meaning of 'stuck', isn't it?

Nobody know's who's in charge. It's probably the world itself.

Right. How long have you people been stuck here? Do you know if time stops at home? I have things to do and a prince to keep track of.

I would appreciate if I knew he wasn't wandering off being an idiot without me. At least I could talk him out of his more ludicrous ideas.
