The question roused Uranus from her reverie - probably just in time; if she'd slipped any further there might have been no going back. Her heart pounded in her throat for very different reasons than those that'd been increasing her pulse just moments before, and despite taking only a moment to process the question she still had time to wonder: how had Neptune known?
"...what's that supposed to mean?" she asked, her tone light but the question coming just a second too late, yet sounding a second too hurried, to be completely innocent. "Here, speak for yourself..."
And she nudged Neptune's legs with a knee, gratified her own feet had moved (though they felt weighted down - this trap was tougher than it looked!). She kept herself pressed close to Neptune, though, even through her nervous chuckling. Good, she'd fixed it. That was...that was good. They could...move. That was good.
