The wishes may have been what brought them together, but Cyrus knew they were together because more of then that. It meant so much to him that Alice wanted him for who he was and would rather not use the power of the wishes he could give her. He knew how it felt to hate a master...but he'd never felt like this.

Cyrus did know and he was a bit proud of himself. It had been lifetimes since he'd been able to have a night like that, the first with someone he truly loved. He would remember last night forever, and any others like it that came after. "Best in lifetimes." He stretched an arm over his head and rolled over slightly, still keeping Alice in his embrace. "This place is so peaceful. I think we should stay, just a little longer."
