[Castiel shakes his head as Dean apologizes. He has no reason to, when he's doing the best he can. The cream is already giving him some relief, and his muscles and overall posture loosen up as a result.]
I don't see how a newspaper would be of any help. [The dragon would just burn that to ash. A squirt gun might actually be of use, though.
The strange thing is that Dean's so willing to discuss the possibility of the dragon being here for at least a few days, now. Possibly because the worst has already happened and they might as well find a way to make this work.
Once Dean finishes with the bandaging, Castiel looks down at his hand and nods.] I'll be fine. [Though he's well aware of how much of an effect painkillers can have, and so he nods.] I'll lay on the couch. [That way he'll be able to keep an eye on the dragon, even if he will be in something of a haze.]
